I've been doing both for years, before the "fad", and I use Yoyo elements with Kendama and vise versa. I'm glad your sticking with Yoyo, cause you slay so hard, but Dama can get just as intense as Yoyo.

tbh it is enough to slow a video down and you can clearly see all the steps :) currently i know them all and im just working now to do it as fast as you :)

Whenever I try the Suzuki combo the string friction gets really tight and the yoyo just shoots up to my hands? Any tips?

+Joey Drumheiser keep the bit of string that is closest to the end of the string( closest to the loop) tight. if that goes slack it will bind.
