It’s a super cool dance style called “tutting,” and it’s not limited to just your arms, it can also be done strictly with just your fingers and incorporated into pop/hip hop dance like what you see Ness(the dancer), performing. It’s very exciting, and there’s some absolutely amazing dancers who use the tutting style!

aight i just need to show how creative and humorous they were in incorporating the lyrics lmao 0:31 "all you said was goodbye, and just from that one word, i understood everything" -> waving hands, one finger gesture, and a realization face 1:01 "in this world that keeps going 'tick-tock', again and again" -> the clock ticking gesture and counting fingers to show that the ticking is uncountable 1:15 "in these troubling/noisy days" -> shutting ears (this is also my fav part AAH THE POPPING IS HELLA SMOOTH) 1:25 "before you fall" -> he kinda fell to the ground also 1:28 the rival team sorta held out their hands bc the lyrics literally said "take hold of my hand" lol 1:37 "i'll melt them away" -> MICROWAVE DANCE shdjdjhd 1:59 and 2:10 "when you're gazing at something only you can see, i hate that part of you" and "i hate that look" -> pointing at the latter, showing their disgust (lmao idk how to phrase this but anw kirai means hate right) 2:23 "will be able to understand each other" -> its literally the "we good? we good" gesture im on the floor the bridge lyrics is basically all incorporated to the dance lol 2:40 "i've had enough i'm tired" 2:43 "desperately stretching" -> fluttering his hands and stretching it 2:46 "you brushed away my hands (that i held to you)" 2:53 "i too wanna say the same thing" -> LITERALLY "yo bro got what i said?" "yea gotchu bro" 3:00 "none of it are reaching you" 3:06 "the moment the words are said" -> talking gesture 3:07 "you smiled for the first time" -> MY MAN SUBTLY SMILED 3:34 "you invited me" -> 'come here gesture' 3:49 "i held the hand you reached out to me" -> taking his own hand 3:53 "swimming through the sky" -> my man swimming 3:57 "don't release our holding hands" -> this drama again 4:01 "we will now race into the night together" there are also other several slight representations but it'd be too much lmao but anyway yeah kudos to both teams!

English lyrics of this song •It was only as simple "goodbye", but it was all i needed to understand. the sinking sun, the rising night sky overlaps with your figure behind the fence. Ever since the first day we met, you stole my whole heart. You, who were clad in a kinda fleeting aura, wore such lonely eyes. Again and again in the world always ringing with "tick-tack". Touching the heartless words and loud voices even if tears are about to spill but i'm sure that we're together, we'll be able to find happiness. In the trouble days, for the never-smiling you.I give my utmost love in hopes for the dazzling tomorrow. In the never ending night before we fall come and take my hand. Even the days that you hid inside,wanting to forget i'll melt with warmth of embraces. No need to be afraid,until down comes someday, let's stay together. I hate it when you stare at things only you can see. Like you're captivated by it or you're in love i hate that expression. The things i want to believe but i can't no matter what i do. They'll repeatedly appeared and every time i get angry and cry. Even so, someday we'll surely, we'll understand each other, I believe in it. "I don't want this, I'm tired of it" I frantically reach for your hand but you pushed my hand away. "I don't want this, I'm tired of it" to tell you the truth, I want to say that too. Oh, in a world ringing with "tick-tack", again and again. None of the words i've prepared for you are reaching you."I want to end it all"when i went along and said that. You smiled for the first time. In the troubling day i became unable to smile The reflection of you in my eyes is truly beautiful. The overflowing tears on the never-ending night, all dissolved into your smile. Ah ahhhh~ In the never-ending days when i cried you seduce me with your tenderness towards the end.Just like i'm about to sink, like it's melting the staining fog dissipated. In the days that i hide inside, wanting to forget I take your hand as you extend it towards me. It's like the cold breeze is swimming through the sky blowing through us. Dont ever let go my hand. The both of us, rising into the night

My favorite part besides how incredible both dancers are is their sportsmanship. I love a friendly competition where both parties respect each other and even hype each other up.

omc i love how they incorporate the lyrics into the dance move!! not to mention i'm kind of confused as to the amount of popular comments i see that are saying they're ignoring the lyrics?
@orionblok12403 жыл бұрын
The lyrics are about depression and self harm but the song is such a banger that is doesn't matter I agree with you tho about the way that they dance it's so good.
@onceuponatimei3 жыл бұрын
@@orionblok1240 i am aware of the lyrics. and the lyrics never said anything about self harm other than the fact that they die in the end. it seems as if people in the comments just know it's something to do with suicide, but don't take the time to learn the individual lyrics, because even without being fluent in japanese i can see that these two (or three if u count the other kid) dancers incorporate the lyrics to the dance. i was confused why people thought they ignored the lyrics, since i see that they incorporated it, not that i didn't know the lyrics.

@@onceuponatimei ah sorry guess I missinterperted your question

@@orionblok1240 yeah it's okey. probably should've clarified that the reason i was confused is cause they are actually not ignoring the lyrics ^^
