That was really enjoyable, I sort of remember seeing this as a teenager at time. This was one of my favorite joints back then & Pebbles was actually very good each time I've seen her on tv performing live. Can't say she had no talent because she most definitely did.

It's so weird but I can't chose between this one and the soul train (which she is clearly lip syncing, she wasn't even trying to hide it) bc I love her live vocals but I also loved the choreography in the soul train. Both are amazing

It's almost impossible to dance (like she did on ST) and sing live! You'd have to train like a marathon runner not to be out of breath. I used to be a dancer (back in those days) so I know what it is like to be dancing your behind off - there is no air left for singing - hence performers who decide to have a dance routine always chose btw singing or dancing and if they go on tour they record a live version beforehand and then lip-sinc to the live-version (e.g. Janet) and dance during the concert. Sometimes you see singers sing live and dance - but they have a less strenuous routine in order not to be out of breath... so basically - it's one or the other - as you can clearly see btw these two shows ;)
