Don't worry, I'm sure they'll create a complex multi part spin off story about where the ship ended up and how the ship has this rich history of being owned by important people in the Galaxy we've never heard of before. Why don't they do Old Knights or something more important like that. It's like spinoffs to explain some freakin dice hanging in the Millennium Falcoln that got like a second of screen time in the original Trilogy. Your absolutely right man! Disney should hire folk like you for a direction. The spinoffs would be better

In Complete Locations book I think says Yoda used parts of the pod as frame for his hut..the curved pieces for walls etc.. wasn't just mud and tree root..😉😀

It wasn’t needed. We already see and sense Yoda’s pain, failure and other feelings that are shown in this clip in other scenes in Sith; in fact, we see that almost with the exact same expressions. We also know that he was exiled to Dagobah. Sith was an excellent film as it was.

It's not just about showing that Yoda is sad - it's about the immersion into the environment he's been essentially forced into. It plays environmental storytelling, seeing this dreary slum that Yoda lives in after the Jedi Order was almost entirely eradicated.

The clip as it is, is pointless. If there was more time to explore the dark side cave, why he chose Degobah, or anything as it relates to Yoda or the planet, that would have been cool. But, we know he ends up there. We could assume he got on a ship, traveled there, and got off the ship without having to see it. That’s why he removed it.

Ok so this is confusing me first of all Yoda wasn't exiled to dagobah at all!!! He went there cuz he went into hiding and the force is extremely strong on dagobah first of all if the empire exiled him there that would me they would know where he was and forced him to go there and never leave that's what exiled means so I'm sorry but the title is inaccurate and confusing to me anyway so that is my opinion on this one however the clip or scene should of been kept in the movie that I agree on as well it's just something to show how everyone was still ok and for the moment safe in the end of the revenge of the sith..... Anyone else agree or disagree with me if I'm wrong witch I'm definitely not at all I'm a huge avid lifelong fan of star wars and I grew up with the original trilogy very young and everything since then I've been right there to see it and saw it again and again I know my star wars universe and history and everything else so I'm not wrong hope all is well to those on here btw peace ✌️

Yeah he went into hiding. But as you said it is exile. So the title isn't wrong. Yoda even said "into exile I must go" or something like that. So while you are right as in it is hiding, the title isn't inaccurate because it is a self exile

always thought yoda was a coward for hiding...he was soo powerful he could hve handled the 501st and anakin had he been there in the Jedi temple at the time of operation knightfall..and the inqusitors would have been a cake walk for him..if Obi wan could defeat anakin TWICE..once on mustafar and another time when vader was at the peak of his powers (Series OBI wan)..then Yoda could have easily defeated the entire inqusitorious fotress.

I agree with the removal of this scene. Removing it is good storytelling. We know dagobah, we know yoda headed there, we also have a scene where he says he is going to exile, we know its dagobah, this aint disney and we dont need fanservice bs. It was a wise choice. George lucas makes some mistakes, but he did a good job deleting this part, which adds absolutely nothing to the movie and makes it bigger without the need to.
