This was amazing, the visual depiction at the end was amazing in the sense that, it reminds me of what the universe perhaps really works like. A black hole of such, "the big crunch" where all matter gets compressed into a spec of dense materials before, blowing up and expanding into a universe once more although never the same. (big bang) I liked how this cutscene showed it in it's own way :)

I find sonic colours to be another attempt at matching mario. It has a similar plot devices as well as a similar ending. The wisps are like the luma's and they both give the main character special powers. Also when the villain plan of galactic domination backfire's their own creation become a space with an enomous amount of gravity. And the space creatures end up joining together to stop it.

@purplecowadoom Trapped in an alternate dimension where Bowser and his minions are good, Mario and Co. are evil, and Real Mario and Co. are fugitives, Mario would have to hunt down all the Ztars (the black opposites of stars) and destroy them all in a single spot in order to open the way home. Now doesn't that sound infinitely more epic? And the saddest part is that it only took me half a minute to come up with all that.

Mario games do indeed need a voice. I think that would be more interesting that just reading speech bubbles. Another thing that Mario needs is a storyline other than saving the princess. What Sonic needs is higher quality gameplay. I mean, most Sonic games are good but none of them appealed to me as much as the recent Mario games.

After you get all 120 stars with both Mario and Luigi, return to the final battle as Luigi. Beat Bowser and watch the whole credit role again, including the final scene when Rosaline leaves the Gateway Galaxy and the Luma stays behind. After the screen goes black, a notice will appear on the screen stating that you have unlocked the Grand Finale Galaxy. The Grand Finale Galaxy is located where the Trial Galaxy Lumas took you to the Trial Galaxies. The luma is on the backside of the planet.

I completely agree that the first was better. The only thing 2 had over 1 was that it had Yoshi and one of the levels from Super Mario 64 (the game that i think inspired this game), and 2 was pretty much the same thing except you had to go in a certain order! and once you beat the game, Luigi is immediately unlocked. No special challenge to unlocking him AT ALL.

@DistortorGiratina487 well the two games are very similar, while the actual buttons you press are different the controls of what Mario can do are virtually the same excluding spinning. With this games graphics, controls, and orchestrated music features in that game, it would give SM64 a new feel for those that played the original and give Wii kids a chance to play the game how it really was, since the controls are the same, a game like sunshine or the rpg style games wouldnt work out

I played the SMG series reverse. Beat the second one about a year ago and I beat this one yesterday. Call me weird, but I think I liked this better than the second one. I felt as if this one was more unique in its levels. I liked the second SMG's credits better though. All in all, a fantastic series, one of my favorites next to Mario Party. (:

I find it a lot more epic if you don't die on a final boss, so they put a bunch of coins so it didn't lose it's epicness and it could still be easy. If you don't know what to do though, it can be hard. My friend (Who is actually pretty good at games) tried like 5 times to figure out what to do on the fight, cause' for once it was all new. That's what I love about this fight, it's not pointed out to you what to do and it's different than all the other fights.

All I'm saying is that a 3rd game would be risky. Galaxy 2 perfected the original premise of Galaxy, as well as bringing in some great 2D throwbacks and the map progression system. Would we prefer more of the same or for Nintendo to focus on other properties and bring back Mario when they have something innovative to add in to the mix? It's just not Nintendo-like to churn them out when it comes to their top franchises.

Wow they just explained the big bang theory! XD All the black holes in the universe suddenly become one giant hole (after sucking up EVERYTHING!) and it all collapses under its own weight and explodes, thus creating a big bang and a totally new world to live in! It keeps getting recycled! :)

Apparently Bowser's Galaxy collapses in on itself because the Grand Star was recovered from the reactor. After the collapse it becomes a supermassive black hole that threatens to destroy the entire universe... Fortunately the Luma take this moment to stop the black hole and instead create another Big Bang of some sorts which ends up in the creation of the new galaxy...

I am DESPERATE becuause when I defeat Bowser at final stage (BUT without having earned all the stars nor the secrets) the ending cutscene, in the case of this video at 4:47, the scene gets stuck and the Wii launches on the screen an error message, then I eject the disk and reinsert; nevertheless, the scene "reloads" and stucks again, making it impossible to save the game (my copy of the game is a little scratched in the whole mere edge, but cheap recovery kits won't fix the stuck scene).
