Just put up a video from last Tuesday's knee workshop at the Shala, NYC. This one's on knee hyperextension in standing. I'll be doing one more class on the knee February 25 at 1:35pm.

I have to say as someone with hyperextended knees (and knee pain to go with it), I am hypersensitive to when my knees hyperextend. I am always aware of it happening and try to stop it. When you are just standing still or doing a slow movement, it's easy to control it. The biggest problem with hyperextended knees is not being able to stop the hyperextension from happening during fast and physically demanding movements in certain types of activities/sports - you can WANT to stop it all you want, but the forces just take over and push the knee back as far as it will go. It is so frustrating.

Great video! I was looking for "the science behind" yoga and it's really not easy to find... Your videos are great, since you're talking about the real thing, while most other "yoga teachers" or "gurus" are mostly talking about religion... Please don't stop creating videos, even if you might still not have the "view numbers" you deserve, you're doing a great job!
