This is an instructional series for Modified Sun Salutation. It helps the instructor teach the poses to students or the teacher can play the video freeing them up to help students individually and pausing for teaching moments.
It will help students build muscle strength, muscle endurance and flexibility while learning the foundation poses. Once the flow has been practiced, speeding it up can elevate it to a cardiovascular exercise (5 Components of Fitness) Focusing on alignment, muscle identification, weight transfer, sequencing, balance, coordination and power helps students build a sense of accomplishment and confidence.
Yoga is a practice not a competition. Everyone will have poses they are successful at right away but the real journey is doing the poses that are difficult, as those are usual what your body, mind and spirit need the most. Prepare, practice and be patient:)
