So helpful! And not just the same old ways of targetting those areas. The proposal pose with the twist was particularly clever, novel and non-intensive. Love that! This channel is great. Ten minute videos to target problem areas, and I can watch one after the other to create my own tailored 30 minute rehab yoga routine. Thank you so much.

I looked up yoga for sore quads and I found this video. It helped quite a bit thank you Joelle. I did a intense kundalini yoga kriya 2 days ago with 108 frog squats in one set and my quads were killing me this morning. Feeling better after this short practice. I tore my quad 6 weeks ago and I’ve been nervous about starting exercise again. I came through this pretty well with just a bit of discomfort/ tightness. It’s definitely helped me gain a bit of confidence

Thank you for this. I have been working on an intense program for hip opening and discovered one quad is very tight and limited. I was looking for something gentle to begin with to help stretch my quads and this was perfect. I will continue this for a while and then add part II. Thanks!

It’s like having a very mobile baby and they are amazing athletes and intense. Just now getting back into some sort of a fitness routine and soon I won’t be able to keep up with him. Thank you so much. I really appreciate the gentle and restorative approach to these videos. For me, the 90-90 stretch is one that my body truly needs after months on the road and no consistent stretch/ conditioning. I've had a surgery on each knee in the past 3 years. My quadriceps have gotten so tight that any time I do deep knee flexion or just a mild hike, my knees would swell up for day causing significant atrophy over time. I am grateful to be reminded of the importance of these stretches and low lunges.

When I run in the heat I get terrible quad pain for days. I was doing lots of foam rolling, stretching, and massages with arnica cream, but you really gave me the trick with these moves! :) thank you for putting this together!!!

This was perfect for me. I then followed on with knee pain. I have some hip impingement my physio feels my knee and quad pain is probably from my hip pains. I've saved the hip pain and bursitis for another day. Thanks for sharing

Love your sequences. I suffer from chronic low back and hip pain which is how I found you. I know I have week abs but have a very hard time finding ab workouts that don’t make my low back hurt. Any ideas you might have for ways to do an intense ab workout without engaging the low back would be so appreciated! Thanks!

Thank you for the suggestion Lyla, I'll give it some thought - it's a little tougher to get at these areas when supine without involving some deeper knee flexion. One nice stretch you may like to try to sit towards the side of a chair, letting one leg dangle straight down to the side with the top of that foot on the floor as far back as you can get it. If you then squeeze that glute, this should help provide a gentle stretch to the quad and hip flexor area. Perhaps give that a shot and see how it feels! 🙏

I know this video is a bit old, but I felt it moved very fast for me. I had to keep my eye on the screen the whole time. I'm hoping over the year the audio cues have improved, and the transition between poses is slower for the non advanced
