Not calling out any other channels, but this is my favorite yoga channel on KZbin. Thank you for your excellent descriptions. I am able to follow along without looking at my phone and I really appreciate how you speak calmly without making distracting jokes or comments. You’re really great at keeping me focused on the movements.

A very helpful beginner yoga. I've been practicing this along with Joelle's other sciatica video (20 minutes) and her lazy glutes video, doing one of them morning and evening for about a month. My sciatica pain is now much less through out the day. I notice a difference now that my glutes are toned up a bit. They support my sacrum movements now.

I did this yoga routine for sciatica and I cannot express how relieved I felt in the first session itself. I have doing it 3-4 times a week and it helps me a lot. Thank you very much Joelle.❤

Before I found your channel I felt daunted by the massive youtube yoga videos, I struggle to follow even the ones for ‘beginner’. Thanks to you and your videos now I’m realy looking forward to do my sessions everyday. Something feels missing if I don’t do your sequences for a day or two.

Joelle, I’ve utilized this video for sometime now and it had helped my well being immensely! Lately, I’ve been complacent about my health and body because of my work, study and life balance. As a result, all my aches and mains have made me irritable and somewhat low. Today, I did this set of stretches for the first time. The instant relief from my sciatica and lower back made me tear with relief. I thank you so much!

Have been suffering badly from sciatica the last 2 weeks. Tried many videos but this one is absolutely the best! More or less immediate pain relief. Same for tennis elbow yoga - helped better than anything else. So happy Joell is on youtube! 💖

Thank you for your concern. These moves are for someone who isn’t suffering great pain. How can I twist and bend like a pretzel when everything in the hip/groin/thigh area screams pain. I’ve decided to get a MRI and a hip injection on 8/16. I can barely walk.

Hi Rachael, all of us will experience postures differently, so while most people feel pretty big stretching sensations in the outer hip or the front leg (or sometimes inner hip of the back leg) in deer pose, that's not necessarily true for everyone. Feel free to shift around a bit in the position to see if you can find a stretch, but otherwise it might just indicate that that's already an open position for you!

I found the release as I did the moves and then had more discomfort. I am having sciatica issues UGH. I will continue to stretch and release strengthen my core. Hoping it improves and goes away :-) Thanks so much
