Migaku was actually the app that really made me continue studying because most apps stop at Beginner to Early Intermediate. This was the only app I could find that builds fundamentals all the way up to Advanced if you utilize it well. I just love the simplicity of being able to add cards so easily compared to meticulously making cards on Anki.

Migaku has come a really long way from where it started. I recall the time when I had to create my own Anki cards; that was particularly a chore due to me using sentence mining. Than I found out about Migaku, and I had an audio and a picture with my cards, making them feel more alive, and I thought this couldn't get any better. Eventually I was burned out due to me still having to choose definition and doing other small tweaks to make my cards better. Now, thanks to the AI functions, I can create a card with just a single click, which is truly a remarkable achievement. There is nothing like this on the market. I can say that at minimum I owe 50% of my Japanese improvement to Migaku, and I am so happy to see them getting the recognition they deserve. I still think the price could be doubled, and I'd still think it would be worth it. Thank you so much for all your efforts

If we could just get a Firefox version, it'd be perfect. Kinda annoying having to switch to chromium every time I wanna make use of the addon.

$400 for lifetime access is crazy! You really expect people to use the app for almost 4 years until it becomes worth the money? If the app really made it faster to learn, no one would use it for 4 years! The price alone reflects the quality of the product. They expect you to not stop using. I mean, if it was so good that I was willing to pay $400 for it, then I should expect to not have to use it after 4 years, making the price not worth it.

Any language learning tool or guide that tells you that you can get high level quickly is lying to you. Also, depends on what level you want to be. If you only want to get like intermediate or lower advanced, 4 years is probably not necessary, but if you want to get as close to native as possible, 4 years is nothing. Even with good methods that takes 5/6 years plus. Any advanced language learner will tell you that. So don't agree with you at all. It makes immersion more fun and easier to stick to. Don't have to buy lifetime if you don't want to use it for that long, I also only pay monthly.

It is worth what ever you are willing to pay. Some people spend hundreds on clothes they never wear. You really think they were thinking about cost per wear when they bought them?
@MigakuOfficialАй бұрын
The lifetime subscription is lifetime access of our higher "EA" tier, so it's a little over 2 years of the subscription costs, which we feel is a great deal for passionate language learners who will probably be learning or dabbling in languages for years to come~.

@@MigakuOfficial i'm a lifetime access member I am currently doing your course daily. I was wondering about one of the features you introduced in this video about how I can use my phone to make lessons off manga pages, or anything etc. Can you do a lesson on that? I wasn't even sure you could do that, I find myself thinking I could print a japanese nintendo switch game screen shot and do a lesson on some vocabulary etc. PLease explain to me how does that function work? I'm doing your course so I haven't touched on the subtites yet, daily doing a litte by little your course and learning to improve what I already know, but I haven't used the app as of yet to understand all the features please help me.

@wizardom I agree, but a foundational knowledge of a language should be acquired first through a textbook IMO, then expanded through other methods
