the morning yoga routine and evening yoga routine are the best videos that i have ever seen in youtube ,, there's people that get confuse for the 4 corner format or sometimes because they think you are going too fast, but the truth is that you just probably get confuse the first two times that you practice the routine, but then you can catch up easily,, i love the flow of the routines because there some other yoga chanelles that spend a lot of time talking and explaning unescesary thing !

I just did the entire routine and though It was quick, I enjoyed it that way. This isn't a "relax and go to bed" routine. It's a wake up and CARPE DIEM routine! I highly enjoyed it, and though I too ended up a bit off my mat, I think it's only because I have never done the routine.I will definitely be doing this again!! I broke a bit of a sweat, and I am energized and ready to scarf down a yummy breakfast. Thank you Yogea!!

It's not too fast, I haven't done yoga in over a year and I was able to follow it. If it was slower I'd have to get up earlier haha. I love this routine though! I felt so energized and refreshed afterwards. Thank you xx

Thanks for sharing your experience. It means so much to me. While this is a great flow, it has flaws. The shooting, directionality and cutting could be improved. That's what we tried to do as Yogea gained more steam. Try some recent routines as I feel they are better instructed and more fluid. Light and love and keep up your great practice!

I love this routine and love the pace. This is Vinyasa yoga, so people who confuse it with Hatha should maybe either understand that Vinyasa is dynamic and take it as it is or... switch to Hatha (or some other similar type). :) I like also when the instructor is NOT speaking because the speech usually confuses the instructor here and there. Thank you for this wonderful awakening.

Thanks for your fresh remark. Absolutely true, living in this high-paced world we would all benefit from a slow- mo function and routines. This one was especially designed to be up-beat, but take some time to try our most recent posts, which are much slower paced and will allow you to hold the poses longer and reap their respective benefits deeper. The fast-paced sequences have their advantages, too, especially in igniting the flow and inspiring us to ride the energy of the day. Give it a go!

I am an older woman trying to get in shape and I love these routines. I find the Morning Yoga Vitality Blast a challenge and cannot do all the poses but I'm getting there. I find it is helping my chronic neck and back pain enormously. This style moves faster than traditional yoga. I appreciate the clear directions and absence of music. My one suggestion would be for a "start here" video to explain what some of the poses are, for example "chattaranga", "grasshopper", "Siva pose", so that while cycling through them a person can do the poses correctly. Thanks for these and God bless you!
@YogeaArtFlowYoga10 жыл бұрын
Dear Meredith, Thank you so much for your valuable tips. We are actually reconsidering the way we shoot and narrate the videos, and we are pacing all of them down, so everyone can enjoy them effortlessly. Don't worry that some poses are not accessible yet, just practicing them every time will help you get there. As for the start here videos we have a similar format called Asana Lab, where we break down poses very elaborately and explain them in detail, this way you will learn the terminology quickly. So please, check the asana labs, they come once a month, and some of them feature the poses you just mentioned. Chatturanga is when you bend the elbows to the ribs and lower down to the floor; grass-hoper is when you keep your leg lifted as you lower your belly down and siva pose when you stand and lift the heels while squatting and wind-milling your arms. But thank you for your suggestion, we will be breaking all poses down like this, so you can follow easily. God bless you, too!

Since posting this comment I discovered the Asana labs which are really helpful. I LOVE this particular routine and it really is a BLAST!! I can do much more than I could before but there is still plenty of "challenge" there. :D *****

Thank you for taking the time to write back, dear Danielle. This particular video was shot at the inception of the channel and perhaps to its high pace it became really controversial. I just read the comments (which I don't usually do) and got quite a surprise that so many people were complaining, as this is one of my favourite videos to start the day. Yes. I suppose it's true. I can't keep up. But I have had so much fun trying. I appreciate all of the Artflow videos. I do wonder if it's possible, even after many years of practice to ever be this graceful and flexible. But even if I can never quite manage it, I enjoy the sweet challenge. In saying that, as I read the comments I wondered if maybe I should try to learn it myself and attempt a slowed down version. Or perhaps if you could point me to a slower version of this lovely practice. Thanks again.
@YogeaArtFlowYoga6 жыл бұрын
Dear Monique, How can I thank you enough for this honest feedback that is so constructive and yet so positive. As the creator of this sequence I must say that I agree with most of the bad comments, as it could be much more user-friendly and enjoyable. But it was one of the first sequences that we shot, and it still flows into two directions, because the organic transitions in Yogea class flow in all direction. But this of course, makes it really hard to follow from the screen. With that said I am not looking for excuses to rectify my mistakes. The channel and the viewer's feedback has shaped this style over the past five years and I am so grateful to viewers like you who actually take their time to help the channel grow. If you take some of our most recent posts you will see that we have improved in terms of cuing, pacing and instructional value. And I promise you, I will redo this particular sequence at a slower pace, especially for your and will let you know when we repost it again Thank you for your great energy, thank you for you beautiful spirit. I am humbled by it. Namaste!

Hi Antonia, Thanks for replying. You have been my 'go-to' yoga teacher for the past four years. I would like just to send you a little message of thanks because it's so strange how, one person can shape another's life from a great distance. I have been practicing yoga for many years (much of it, because of having five children, has been at home - first with a book and now with KZbin.) Which is where you come in. I always return to your channel because I do love the creative flows, and somehow because they were interesting and also quite manageable (in the smaller sizes) I found you kept my interest. Because of your inspired take on yoga I finally managed to become faithful to my practice - (which for me, means coming to my mat every day.) Since then, I decided to do what I have always wished for; to become a yoga teacher. Funnily enough I teach Bikram (which is so totally different to your practice that I think - wow, how did that happen.) But it did, and I love teaching and sharing the gift of yoga with others. One day I would love to branch out and teach a more creative style of class, but for now this is where my yoga journey is leading me. So, I would like to say once again. Thank-you. And again… Thank-you.

Exactly what I was looking for in a morning routine! Thank you! The pacing was very natural to me, but I have been practicing at a beginner level with an instructor who goes at a similar pace with her breath so it was easier for me to keep up with the transitions. And of course, that's just my personal experience. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this routine - it really woke me up this morning! Thanks again and have a wonderful day!

+Megan Sanders Dear Megan, It is very encouraging to hear that you benefited from this routine and were able to woke up. That is exactly what we intended to do that's why the pace is high and the flow is sometimes hard to follow for people who are used to holding poses for 5 breaths. But as you pointed out this is an organic flow that is meant to invigorate the entire being and we are delighted that it served its purpose for you. We have other energizing modern routines. Give them a shot when you feel like it. Good morning and Namaste!

Yes, that was a bit too fast paced but, still, it's one of the most lively, original and refreshing practice I've found for FREE. This is something that gifted yoga teachers dont usually put on youtube...There are so many you tube yoga stars out there who does always the same poses and moves, they are good but it's always the same. Since I've been practicing yoga for almost 15 years, I know that's not easy to find something really worthwile for free and I really hope you don't change this...thanks a lot.

kukuxumusu2006 Thank you so much for mentioning that despite the fast pace of this sequence you are enjoying the fresh style. Although we know this particular video is not perfectly demonstrated and narrated (because if flows in two directions and it is fast) we have been passionate about the ingenuity of the flow. We aspire to create a yoga experience that is different in the sense that it challenges the body and mind to create new ways of perception and growth. Thank you for noticing this and thank you for practicing with us. We will not let you down. Light and love!

I enjoyed this routine because it combined some poses that I haven't combined in the past and it was energizing. I do agree that she seems to move around a lot, changing where she was facing. I found myself facing away from my Mac and having to turn around, missing some poses and working one side more than the other. I will not do this routine again because of not being able to face the screen and follow, but I like the rooftop view and will check into your other videos. And I need savasana.

There are many people here (rightfully) complaining about the speed of the flow. I love this class very much, although I have to amend some of the asanas. I can also not follow the pace. But as I love the flow too much and not doing it occassionally is not an option, I did the following: Just write down the order of the asanas, put the paper in front of your mat as a wriiten reminder, decide on the amount of breath you want to stay in the asana's and get started. It takes me around 50 minutes to do it, but it is grest fun.

Thank you for this video, I really like it and use it several times per week. I'm able to follow along perfectly and always feel wonderful after I finish it like I've had a great workout. I have a question about the end of it. I've always heard that yoga should end with shivasana but this one doesn't. Does standing in mountain pose have a similar effect as far as providing the body a moment of relaxation to realign and allow the routine to settle in to the body?

Keep up your practice and you will notice the subtle changes every day! Namaste

Beautiful view, but it's just too fast. I feel like I really need to hold the poses to get some use out of them. By the time I figured out what I was supposed to be doing, she was on the next pose. I just could not develop any rhythm, because it was too fluid for me.
@YogeaArtFlowYoga10 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment, Martin! This routine was intended to flow fast and wake up the whole body in the morning. But if you like some of the poses you can just practice them separately at your own pace. This video was one of the first videos that we shot, so the pace is a a little fast. If you want you can try one of our most recent routines that flow slower and you have more time to develop your own rhythm. We are adjusting to our viewer's needs all the time, and we will be posting more slow-paced videos soon. Check in with us regularly to stay tuned.

The Original Luzah Thanks for providing your feedback. Yes, this sequence is a little rushed and flows in both directions and sometimes gets a little confusing, but the more you do it the more fluid it gets and then you can perform it by heart - you don't even have to look at the video...But because we get a lot of unhappy viewers, we will do it slower and explain it better, so everyone could have fun with it. Thank you for suggesting. Namaste!

Thanks for your feedback. This routine is meant to energize you in the morning. I totally know what you mean about the “guilty factor” while practicing. I get it sometimes myself when I am trying to fit into the mould, but when I release the urgency to fulfill all the expectations an instant relief follows. It’s great that you’ve experienced that, it’s part of the practice. Everyday it will be different, and irritation could alternate with fulfillment and that’s part of growing through yoga.

I agree the vocals could use a bit of work. I could manage the poses, but the commentary made it hard to follow and gave me less feeling of flow and more rush. But this did wake me up so go for that!

Dear Jesi Elise, Thank you for this very crucial comment that made us reconsider the shooting of our videos. Because this yoga flow spirals like a compass giving reverence to all Earthly directions, you do occasionally get off the matt and back on it, facing the other directions at times, and in a yoga class format this is a lot of fun, but for the user-friendliness of our videos this was an impediment to our viewers. All our new videos only face front and side. Thanks for the valuable tip!

buildakicker Thank you for sharing. This session is one of the first routines we shot, and the reason it is hard to follow is because it is two-directional and also fast paced. We have actually refined the directions, instructions and pace now, and our recently posted videos are much easier to grasp and enjoy. Keep up the great practice!

Thank you for your positive feedback and encouraging words and for expressing yourself so openly about this sequence. This particular routine has a non-standard approach and some poses actually get you off the mat for a moment, but it is part of the compass-flow, and once you master it, you get a feel of spiraling rather than conducting linear poses. The speed is also rapid as this is a morning flow. We have a more recent morning yoga routine on the beach, when you get a chance try it out.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Try the slower sequences that we have posted currently first and then you can re-try this one again, as your body would have unleashed its own organic flow and you won't have to pause, watch and then assume the pose. This will disintegrate the routine and you won't feel the benefits. Keep on practicing!

Thanks so much! Try some of the slower paced sequences, the instruction there is slower, too and you have more time to assume and breathe into every pose. If you give our most recently posted sequences a shot you won't feel rushed. More slower paced sequences to come, so keep up the practice!

Dear Yenilyn, Thanks for your thoughtful comment. Yes, you are absolutely right, Savasana crowns every sequence. It was intentionally omitted here as this is a sequence to get you ready for the day. But your observation is correct, Tadanasana - mountain pose can be considered as a relaxation pose. As you close your eyes and imagine you are reclining in the air, you can root through the heels and shoot energy through the crown of the head. Try it! But feel free to do your Savasana at the end.

i love love love your videos. Im a beginner and don't know what open level means?
@YogeaArtFlowYoga9 жыл бұрын
+Yasaman Ghadimpour Dear Yasaman, Thank you for the words of encouragement. Open level requires some prior knowledge in the field of Yoga, as it takes you into deepening your practice with accessible and empowering poses. Once you view some of our open level videos and figure out the logic of transitioning you can attempt it at any time. It shouldn't b a problem. Usually the levels go in this order: basic, beginner, advanced beginner, intermediate, advanced and open. Big Hug and Namaste!

Sorry but this video starts ok and then feels a bit all over the place - too fast for a morning routine! I just had to stop the routine as it seemed more stressful than vitalizing. But glad that you're doing something about it - I might come back to this as I liked the creative combination of poses.

aditi chowdhary Thank you so much for expressing your candid opinion. Yes, indeed it is a very fast flow and hard to keep up. But it was one of the first videos we shot and we were still trying to figure out the flow, directions and instructional wording, as the style is more creative and needs particular explanation especially with some more unconventional asanas. But our recently posted videos are much more user friendly and if you liked some variations and snippets of the flow you can find more in the new ones. We will keep your remark in mind and keep on improving the pacing and manageability of the flow. Thank you so much for helping us grow. Namaste!

It's a demonstrative pace but now one that one can follow at home, as the instruction is not concise enough to follow without looking at the screen. simply dubbing the voice over with more complete instruction would fix that. But thank u for the beautiful video.

Yes, you are totally right. We shot this video a long time ago when we were trying to figure the right balance between directions, cuing and pacing, so it is hard to follow in deed. Because viewers like the poses we will redo it with much better instruction and pacing. Thanks so much for taking the time to provide such valuable feedback. Your comments are greatly appreciated! Namaste!

Dear Jill, Thanks for your thorough comments. They really help us improve the quality of the videos. The Yogea practiced in a class based format does face all four corners, which allows the body to move like a compass in all directions. However, we realized that this 4 corner format is not user friendly when it comes to practicing online videos. Our latest videos face only two directions to avoid this confusion of having to face the video with your back. Like you said, try one of the latest!

I agreed on that too. It was so hard to keep up the flow because of the vocals.

Wonderful practice. Very fluid. However, the directions were a bit unclear at times.

Thanks for your comment, Brinna. We will be posting the same video with clearer directions and instructions soon. Stay tuned and keep up the practice.

Thanks for your insightful comment. The fast pace was deliberately sought in this particular yoga routine, as it was intended to give the body a morning boost. The asanas are also intentionally not held for too long, but rather experienced as moments of transition and flow. But, thanks so much for the comment, as we have a slower-paced morning yoga routine coming up soon. In the meantime you can try some of our other targeted routines. Enjoy and we will keep in touch. Absolutely, we can do a forward bending routine targeting the hamstrings and culminating into different variations of Hanumanasana. Hanumanasana is best achieved when you intermingle forward bends that stretch the hamstrings with backbends that contract them, and intersperse hip-openers to create space for the healthy extension of the hamstrings. This way you get a healthy balance of flexibility and strength. Please, visit us again in October to find a "yammicious" Hanumanasana video. Namaste.

We are happy you enjoy our routines. Thank you for the kind words! If you like the background you should check out our new evening Yogea routine. Hope you like it too!

This sequence has a lovely, dance-like quality...real flow. But maybe it's more the description that is less than helpful? On my videos, I rather risk losing the odd viewer, than upsetting folk by not making it clear when it's a more advanced video...(Though it's not always an exact science). This is a lovely sequence. Just maybe put 'advanced' in capital letters in the title. Om Shanti...

Thanks for your comment. You could pause to see some more innovative asanas and then restart to get back into them and continue the flow. If you want slower paced classes try out latest Detox Series, back pain relieving, beginner's morning and evening sequences.

Hi, This is an intentionally high paced routine and it does require watching prior to attempting it. If you would like slower paced routines, please try our detox routines or the most recent morning routine which is still in a flow style, but slightly slower than this one. Thanks! Keep up the practice...

I'm with Brinna Horvath on this one. I love the routine, but the instruction is virtually unfollowable unless you're watching the video. which. let's be honest. who can watch and yoga at the same time? actually I'd like permission to create an audio instruction version of this routine for my own personal use. is that okay with you?
@YogeaArtFlowYoga10 жыл бұрын
Dear Josh, Thanks for your feedback. Yes we are working on the instructions and on making the videos more user-friendly. Your comments really help. We will redo this same video with better instructions and slower pace very soon, but in the meantime feel free to create your own instructions for this video and practice it at home. It is intended for all, and the more user friendly it is, the better. Thanks again!
