I have not regretted for a second starting a subscription to Life force Academy members .every Tuesday evening. I sit in front of the computer and with Jai Dev as teacher. shows how to breathe and practice different yoga exercises. This can be said to have changed me in body and soul

I started doing Yoga accidentally, back in Feb 2018, not really knowing what it truly was, i just following along on KZbin and i knew it touched something within me, it did something from the very get go, it unleashed something i couldnt put into words back then, but i kept doing it and fell in love with the chemical releases and the high spiritual vibe it allowed me to tap into and the meaning of wholeness that i discovered 🙏 and then gradually i understood the true science behind it and what Yoga (Union) truly means both on the physical and the spiritual levels. I swear it changed my life, my body, my mindset, my perspective on about everything. Yoga heals you from the inside and out 🙏✨️ 6 years later i still do it every day almost, and its THE habbit that changed my life 🙏 Yoga = Medicine.

I experience Vata imbalance from time to time. I can imagine how unsettling it feels. Through all my studies & practices in Ayurveda Prakriti,Yoga here are top go-to during Vata imbalance and this guidance has come to me direct from Source & my Spirit Guides: 1. They stress on getting enough SUNLIGHT. 2. A sequence of Pranayama techniques- Kapalbhati, Bhastrika & Anulom Vilom in the morning. MEDITATION CAN INCREASE VATA, so ground the energies by walking barefoot on grass. 3. Mudras (hand pressure point gestures) Vata Nashak Mudra,Prana Mudra & Agni Mudra for 10min each. 4. Eat warm,moist,oily & grounding foods like sweet potatoes,Pumpkins & gourds, beetroot,ripe banana, avocado. Foods to I specifically avoid : raw veggie salads,yeast-breads 😐 Hard-to-digest meat/foods. 5. Abhayanga (full body) oil massage & shower (total bliss!!!). 6. Hydrate with only room temperature water & a glass of detox water made of Cumin seeds,Coriander seeds & fennel seeds. 7. Travel: Yes! Cold & dry places could easily trigger Vata. My Spirit Guides intervened during my trip to Switzerland in winter,& directed me to Goa 😅 Humidity & warm bearable temperatures (indoor & outdoors) (Think beaches🏖) Avoid being too much in aircon,seriously! 8.Build daily routines,habits & organize your tasks (Yes,Vata keeps your mind in more-thinking-less-planned actions state). These are just the highlights,guys!😄 Vata is not a practice or diet, (certainly not a doom),but a lifestyle! Stay warm,cozy & hydrated🤗Hope this helps anyone who's going through Vata Dosha (imbalance). Looks like a long list but helps you sleep & live lighter 💖

Y not raw veggies salads?
@grishma2.09 ай бұрын
@@NurseBambi because raw veggies require more digestive fire 🔥 to digest the food. And they lack natural good fats which is ideally required for a Vata type. They are higher in water content and only water hydration is not enough for Vata. Natural Oils & fats r needed to grease our internal system since Vata imbalance ‘dries’ us from within. Hope this helped :)

I love that Jai Dev Singh shared that yoga will meet people where they are. This was epic. I love that the two of you talked about purpose. The facts are that some people really do not get it and they way you both laid it out helped to simplify things. Great job!!

people have to find the path that works best for them. When we find it and work the process it helps move us back to homeostasis.

I love learning about the body types. The master game book dives into this. Quoting William Sheldons book. Atlas of men!! My downfall is terrible sleep too!!

Totally! He’s such an amazing human being. Total yoga practitioner as he said, so genuine and inspiring. Total gratitude. I’ve only just found out about him. In my many years of yoga for women as a practitioner I was really looking for this. So inspiring

I was in Charleston SC in the 90s. Took a yoga class in college from a California dude named Skip. Without those fantastic fundamentals, I would have been injured 10x over in your basic yoga studios. Getting those fundamentals down was key for me enjoying the asanas.
