KZbin will probably censor the comment due to the words used but thought I'd share because I was curious why they call it a cockpit. As Lewis said, it's just something that I accepted but.. Why..? The title comes to us from “cock,” an Old English term for a small boat, and “swain,” which means servant. A cockswain is a boat servant. Over time, this title led to the steering compartment of smaller boats, where the cockswain sat, being called a cockpit.

I love fresh apple slices with a pinch of salt on them, especially when the apple is nicely acetous and not too sugary-sweet; the salt complements the acetous taste. But then, I also put cheddar cheese or goat cheese onto German black bread and then put slices of banana on top. Or mustard on the cheese. Haven't tried cheese, mustard _and_ banana together, yet, worth a try. But fruit goes well with flavoursome cheese and meat, anyway. After all, venison like i.e. stag and boar is traditionally served in Germany with a cooked pear half with lingonberry jelly or with hot cherries in a red wine sauce.

I think when people say they've never tried vegan food, they're not really referring to ordinary fruits and veg and bread.
