The fact Total War isn't just making a Total War Mythology is insane. They could have so many factions. A large map including Europe, Upper Africa, and a decent amount of Asia. Have Greek, Egypt, Norse, and a few asian mythologies at war with each other. Human units and mythological units. Plus some God powers.

iv been listening to a podcast doing a complete history of the bronze age near east and it does very much seem that for the most part we know when Kings and pharaohs came to power, when they died, when they went to war and if they won, lost, or its unclear. but in terms of what troops were used, how many, in what formations if any, how the battles were fought and where the battles took place, is largely guesswork

FYI: Media being too loud is on purpose. You can turn something down infinitely, but allowing infinite raising could cause damage to equipment and people. Therefore, make it a bit too loud and let people turn it down to their comfort level, rather than being too quiet and not being able to turn it up if you have bad hearing.
