Same! It’s been long since I listened to something like this. I remember watching Yohio in his former band when I was 14-15, it’s 11 years since then. Was at an convention. 🤔 He is a good guitarrist from what I remember, and his japanese is pretty good. This song is something I’d prolly listen to back then, or earlier than that. It’s not bad, it’s not just my style anymore. But I have to say I cringe at myself from remembering myself back then. I think that’s why I have a hard time reconnecting to my old music style. But there were some good bands that I do feel are really good to this very day, so I am not going to throw this genre under a rug and label it as something less any other genre. Well this music video is basically me at 14, and its nostalgic.

Ahh that's a long story. To make it short: There was a lot of miscommunication while Ruby was being developed which ended in a lot of stress and drama. The biggest thing was that Misha (Rubys voicer) was working on a design for Ruby with her friends, while PFX did the same. So when Ruby was revealed, they showed PFXs design instead of the one Misha chose which made things hella awkward and fans started the "save Ruby" campaign which was succesful and we got the design we have now but it was something for PFX to reconsider if they really want to continue with Vocaloid business. The miscommuniation just went on and when Ruby was released, she didn't even get the box design which was made for her so yeah. Lots of problems. Since then their customer service also got.. pretty bad. There are even more things but I think it should be recorded somewhere on the Vocawiki. It's a shame that everything ended like this.

This is a really fantastic song. The visuals are done phenomenally. The costumes are gorgeously made. The music has a lovely mix of crazy and refined. And the singing, absolutely flawless. All-in-all, a perfectly executed example of the musical craft.

Mr Yohio, after watching "My nocturnal serenade", i became interested, so i started watching your another videos. And you know what? I came to thought, that you have very beautiful voice, voice that can sing popular music and be liked by many people, but you sing rock (?, melodic pop rock? i don`t know how to characterize), (and i will not talking about your appearance, you already know that you are handsome and attractive, right? ))) ), you have great english, great english pronunciation, and making aesthetically beautiful mv`s in not usual and not so popular, but absolutely beautiful visual key style.
