I watched most of Ken's run if not all. It was amazing. Im glad he is the new host. Well deserved.

This episode's status as one of "Jeopardy!"'s most landmark episodes of all is unquestionable. In it, we saw a winning streak broken, a giant-sized brain bested, a titan felled, all because of a response to a Final answer that our defending champ, Ken Jennings - after having claimed 149 victims over the course of his run, and made history for the show AND its entire genre - botched due to not knowing that the entity that was to be named was a tax firm. But hey, at least Ken hadn't really quit his day job yet.

Gosh, how far do I have to remember how old I was, when this episode aired? 20 years ago, before I turned 9. I even remember coming home from school, just in time to see how Ken Jennings was doing, since I always liked seeing him win episode, after episode. But when she came along, Nancy Zerg, I thought "the nerve of that woman!", and was happy to hear she lost the next day. Either way, I liked how gracious Ken was anyway, by giving her a congratulatory hug, to let her know that no hard feelings were made. That goes to show how kind Ken is, and how Nancy was so ecstatic, and surprised beyond words, by how she was able to dethrone him like this, despite her short-lived time on the show. Wherever she is today, I hope she's well and learned a lot from her 15 Minutes of JEOPARDY! Fame.

This was still kind of a weird game, that the defeat somehow happened just after Ken crossed the $2.5 Million mark

And that Funny Hats category. He went 4/5 but the only one he missed was the Daily Double. Had that double been anywhere else in that category, he gets it and wins the game. If he got the 5400 daily double earlier, he wins the game. And of course if he got final, he wins. Insane how he had to miss all three of three specific clues for his streak to end...if he gets 1 of those 3 right he wins. But all streaks have to end somewhere I guess And had there been more time, the pro sports venues category might have turned into that Football category...if you get my drift looool

I find it hard to believe Ken didn't know the answer, he wasn't even in the right industry, why would FedEx only work 4 months out of the year? My uneducated mind went straight to tax season and thought HR Block or the IRS, but I thought of the right answer first, I almost feel like he lost on purpose so he could just take his money and go home

When they reaired a few years ago, Ken said that when he read the clue and saw seasonal employees tax season never entered his mind he thought the clue was going to be holiday related.
