It's so weird to see a Judo compilation video without background music.

yes i get that, but these videos were never meant to be 'hype' videos, my intentions were only to share rarely seen techniques and variations of techniques used by specific people, also i like the sound of people getting slamming into the mat and the crowd reaction.

I have done this throw so many times and the judge never counts it, even as a yuko back in those days. I know many Dan ranks don't even know this throw

I’m glad you say this. I just did this move and it wasn’t counted. I was confused very much. Like damn bro I just threw this dude and not anything? Not even half a point for launching him and landing with his back on the mat? Nothing? But hey, at least I’m not alone.

@@estogaza5827 yes I have been making to sure to give an eardrum shattering kiai when I do this and follow with my eyes and hands to make sure they see it's me doing it.

@@JudoImPott They went for a head and arm throw. Failed. Back was turned towards me. Still on both feet. I step in front and launched them. So ya, a counter. It was textbook yoko garuma.

@@estogaza5827 If you used the tatami to throw, a counter is not scored!
