I have had Yokohama Earth One tyres on my old car. Did 30k with them with rotating then every 5k. I would say with the tread life left on them I would have done 20k more on them comfortably.

Confuse between earth 1 and conti max contact mc5. Who will be the winner ? I drive fludic verna and i am looking for tyre (195/55/R16) who can especially bear the indian potholes. As you might know front tyres of verna can not bear that and get easily cuts and tears from the sidewall. I used bridgestone and good year in past but they are not enough strong to fight on indian roads. If any other brand in your mind that meets up the criteria, Please update. Thank you for help.

Bridgestone B290 performance low, lasting high, headache free... Contimax solid build quality, shall not burst or bubble Yoko performance high, good build quality.. Buy which ever is cheapest of the above three brand. Upsize from 195 to 205/55r16, will solve cut issue. Bridgestone may give you cut warranty but yoko, does'nt entertain warranty.. By performance I mean high speed cornering.. above 100kmph in highway..

Hi Mr. Barua, why did your front tyres wear out so early? Has it got anything to do with all that extra power being sent to the road due to DieselTronic ECU? I have done almost 35K km on stock tyres, 90% of which was on concrete highways, tyres are only half-way through. I drive the same car
@afteroffice_yt

I have driven mostly in highway and my speeds were above 130kmph.. I have very little city driving.. if I would hav rotated, I may hav got 40k out of 4tyres.. I think 20k was normal for the speeds tats i have driven for any brands, say bridgestone b290 or Hankook etc. I swear I didn't do any tyre spinning with the added power from Dieseltronic, except two three instances which are recorded in other videos in the channel. I yes, i have abused the bad road with these tyres confidently, and dont think the suspension is hurt either. Speaking from experience as I owned a Fluidic verna also and didnt have to change suspension upto 1lac kms after which i sold the car. You can join on insta : baruaharn

Life would be same 20k kms. Just the fact that at 40k kms you will need to change all 4 tyres. Further after 30k kms you wil have 4tyre with minimum thread life compromising your car performance for rest of the drive upto 40k kms until you change your tyres. However rotating tyres is a better option in for day to day driving unless you drive at insane speeds where you need good tyres. Tyres wear out faster over concrete road.

@@afteroffice_yt I think you are wrong about your opinion on tyre rotation. I own a Jeep Compass, which comes with 225/60 R17 Firestone tyres. This might seem unbelievable to many, but I managed to clock 73.5k kilometres with the stock tyres. Yes, now I have worn out the tyres so much, that I can now see that thread which is supposed to be well inside the rubber. But the point is, I was able to clock so much only because I did proper alignment, balancing and tyre rotation every 5000 kilometres. Such a maintenance could cost some money, but it would be way lesser than having used up two full sets of tyres for 73.5k. Now I have switched to Yokohama Earth 1 tyres and I am yet to test it's performance and life. PS- Change your tyres at time, when it wears out and don't do what I did.

Yoko earth1 tyres are said to make it feel as if the car is floating. Since the steering feedback on the verna inherently feels disconnected from the wheels, did the yoko tyres make the steering feel too numb? I drive the same car as you, same make and model, so just curious.
