YOM KIPPUR : A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING

Hello everyone! The holiest day of the year, yom kippur is so so soon! Beginning this friday evening. I wanted to make this video to share some deeper understandings about the day. Hope it makes sense, definitely a lot of new information. Hope it helps! Wishing you all a meaningful fast.

@@emunahashem I'm happy you're happy. I also listened to a live event, a Rabbi reading from and explaining the book of Jonah. It is a daunting task for Jews to teach gentiles, because they can't be trusted most of the time. For myself, a gentile who legally changed my last name to Avraham because I made a lifelong commitment to learn from Rabbis and have 100% faith HaShem, it is also daunting. As the years pass, I will become more observant and maybe, eventually be worthy of conversion; but even if I never do I'm still and forever convinced Judaism is the true faith. HaShem is the only G-d and Jews are the teachers for all humanity. Keep up the good work. I'll continue to learn from you.

Thank you for your inspiring explanation about the significance of yom kippur. Just one idea regarding forgiving ourselves. If we trust that hashem is perfect and has a plan of how everything intertwines and is for the best. Then we can trust in hindsight that the opportunity to now do teshuva (once again) is in highest good. We can accept ourselves totally, all parts of ourselves. Yet from our perspective still acknowledge that a transgression has occurred and a change of course is required. גמר חתימה טובה ❤.

I'm sorry, but this is confusing. How can one be given atonement of sins without a sanctuary and without a blood sacrifice? For within the Torah, it is clearly written that a blood sacrifice s required. If fasting, good works, prayer, charity, meditation, self-reflection, and self-affliction have replaced the requirement of a blood sacrifice to be completed by the High Priest within the sanctuary, please show us within the Torah where it says a blood sacrifice is no longer required for atonement. In other words, please show where Almighty God has changed His mind. "For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?" (Malachi 3;6-7) Mercifully, God Himself provided us with a sanctuary where we can either receive atonement or find a stumbling block. The choice is ours: "And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him." (Isaiah 8:14-17) May the Most High God preserve, provide for, and protect the children of Israel.

God sent Jesus as a substitute for our sins. You are GODS CHOSEN PEOPLE there is nodoubt in my mind. Some Christians believe the Church replaced Judaism but that is a lie from the pit. The blood is the life force you spoke of, and it is in the blood that there is forgiveness of sin, that's why Jesus died on that cross. I would say abortion doesn’t fall under sacrifice to moloch but it does fall under the sin of murder. There are other things in modern society that are akin to child sacrifice though.

Great video! The typical Day of Atonement is awesome. How much greater the final, antitypical Day of Atonement in the Heavenly Sanctuary. Daniel 8:14, “And he said to me, “For two thousand three hundred days; then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.” This begins with the decree of Persian King Artaxerxes authorizing God’s people to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the city. The decree, found in Ezra 7, was issued in 457 BC. 2300 - 457 = 1844 AD. (No “0” year). The antitypical day of atonement began in 1844. The final cleansing of the Heavenly Sanctuary of all sins, over all time. @@SusanC-gi6nw it is also the reconciliation ( to be made zero) of the books from debt to credit, and what we are supposed to do through the Ten days of awe is reconcile our debts unforgiveness etc.to others family etc. if we have not we must between the 1st and the 10th of Tishrei ( Yom kippur) bc the books close on that day!
