Hi lovely, for the borders yes medium size yarns is okay but as for the “lace” part of the coset it’s a bit big nor the stitches will not be defined as the smaller size yarn weight but if you’re using a bigger sizes hook like what you’ve mentioned probably it can be pull 😅but your number of sts will be less compared to the actual tutorial..
