This is definitely one of my favorite places to hike and camp! Such a great view from the top. Would be fun to go down the side as well. Be careful up there as plenty of people have died falling off that ledge.

Watching your video - looks like there are spots where the trail can split. Is it easy to follow the trail? Can I get lost?

It is best to always map the route you want to go, however, the trail is pretty easy to navigate. To help you, there is usually a steady stream of people going up and down in case you get turned around to ask for help. Hope you have fun out there. Thanks for watching and the support!

So what happened to his boots? The sole came off? I have over 3000 miles on Asolo GTX and never had an issue! I have since switched to trail runners just because my pack weight has changed so much. I hope they haven’t gotten that bad in 2 years?!? Keep putting out the great videos! We love following you!

The adventures of Smalls and Talls yep. As Phlip was hiking down the mountain, both soles came off the bottom of his boots. He said that he had not worn his boots in four years and I think that he had them in storage so the varying temps might have caused them to dry rot. Thanks for watching Smalls and Talls! Would you consider this a kid/dog friendly hike? I think there’s a steep drop off at the top, if I’m not mistaken, right? Of course those are the best views! :)

Yonah Mountain is a moderate to aggressive hike and is family and dog friendly. There are some areas that are intense, but there are people with all skill levels hiking this trail. Definitely recommend checking this place out as it is one of my favorite places to hike in North Georgia. There is a drop off at the top, but the views are incredible. Hope you get a chance to explore this area.
