Why did u choose the S2 rather than S1 to allocate first to the D1?

because the cell at the intersection of the second row and the second column has the minimum cost (1), the corresponding supply is s2 and the corresponding demand is d2. This is the minimum cost method. What you mentioned is the northwest corner method kzbin.info/www/bejne/rF6tlKOrhrSZoM0
