I totally missed this and should've said it in the video. The Manga completely debunks the idea of kaido's fruit being a fish and his awakening being a dragon: 1. Vegapunk made an artificial copy of kaido's devil fruit and momo, who's barely learning how to use it, can directly transform into a dragon. If kaido's fruit was a fish and then kaido awekened it into a dragon, Momo would be a fish not a dragon. And vegapunk also stated that he doesn't know if artificial zoans can awaken, which means he can't create a artificial fruit that directly leads to awakening without the proper fruit mastery, which further debunks the idea of kaido's fruit making a fish and then the awakening being a dragon. 2. In the god valley incident, ginny straight up say about the two devil fruits the celestial dragons are offering as prizes that one turns you into a mythical azure dragon (not a fish) and the paw paw fruit, that allows you to send yourself to different islands. Those two statements debunks the idea that kaido's fruit allows you to become a fish and then through its mastery you awaken into a dragon. Kaido's fruit being classified as a fish fish fruit is only a reference to the Japanese myth, not something applied literally in the Manga.

The reason Kaido has Endgame stats but was the villain before the final saga is because the newer villains are more tricky as they're IMMORTAL, and that it took 15-17 people jumping and 2 protag powerups one being Toonforce to beat Kaido, and he was still the dominant force in the fight.

Cracker was just a bad match-up for Luffy even though Luffy was clearly stronger than him, but some one like Zoro or Doflamingo would've had a much easier time against Cracker due to their fighting style matching up better against Cracker's abilities.

I highly doubt someone that knows how devil fruit awakenings work wouldn’t have one himself. Plus luffy said it himself someone’s character matters in a fight. Especially if you can’t beat them and can’t get away either. My final point is that kaido was testing the allied forces the whole time. He seemed irritated with actually killing momo in front of everyone. Plus he kept giving nothing, but pointers in the fight against the worst generation.

Kaido, I would say, is not that memorable of a villain. Compared to Arlong, Crocodile, and Doflamingo. Which sucks because he was a Yonko and one of the strongest and possibly the most base-durable characters in all of One Piece. You would want him to be just as if not more interesting than those past great villains.

Until the final War proves me wrong, I am a firm believer of the Dressrisa microcosm theory( the bull Luffy fought on C block was a representation of Kaido) so in the final battle when the combined forces march vs the WG in the RedLine similar to how Colosseum fighter marched on Doffy palace , Luffy will be riding on top of a One Horned Dragon( Kaido) same way he rode the bull who he broke the same horn. Needles to say , in that scenario Kaido gets trully offed to showcase Imu power( Doffy killing the bull)

Oda hyped up the title of Kaido's "Strongest creature in the world" since a decade and more, and we know he isn't the kind to just give such title vainly like other mangakas do. Kaido truly is the strongest, and I'm betting my life on it that he wasn't 100% serious with his Flame Bagua. It's so obvious so the struggle between him and the Bajrang Gun left Luffy a moment to build resolve and burst a final quick push, the amount of Haki applied by both so abundant that the moment the tie is broken whoever is on the receiving end will be massively overwhelmed. Kaido might be actually stronger than we think and I'm pretty sure Oda is saving him from awakening until the Final Battle for Supremacy. And don't forget: -Fought the 9 Akazaya -Battled Inuarashi and Nekomamushi with the Mink Tribe in Sulong form -Rekindle the steel agaisnt the Akazaya and second time but almost toying with them soo.. -Tag teamed Big Mom and fought 5 Supernovaes -Beat Luffy to exhaustion -Punished almost solehandedly the entire Supernovaes pack (Big Mom wack) -Got to a 1v1 with Luffy and wrecked him -Fought Luffy again and beated him so bad he started hallucinating an ongoing battle from sheer excitement -Got hold off by Yamato until Luffy recovers and she's no slouch -Took on Lufffy yet again and gave him hell until CP0 spoiled the fight (he would have won anyway) -Battled Luffy yet another and final time under Gear 5th and without his own awakening, managed to turn the tables on Luffy and gave the most beautifully brutal series of BONKS we've ever seen, making a final impact so powerful the shockwave extended beyond Onigashima, wich is 27km in diameter at least. -And finally used Flame Blagua to counter Luffy's Bajrang Gun and for the first time through all of the entire raid battle, finally, got defeated. Keep in mind that he doesn't die, only Advanced Haki can hurt him, and he throughout the battle of the rooftop, he was lifting the entire island of Onigashima. If Luffy who got defeated 4 times just on the rooftop alone, excluding the first OSKO he got at the beginning, and got tired from awakening against a non-awakened battle-lustful Kaido, the Kaido is absolutely never gonna be power cliffed. This King of the Beasts is truly a monster like no other we've ever seen. And he wasn't showing everything yet. Edit: I forgot to point out, but the Uo Uo no Mi IS a fish fruit. It's the fact that it's a Mythical Zoan that makes it an Azure Dragon through the legend of the Magikarp. It's exactly the same as the Hito Hito no Mi has ordinary trait like Chopper with the Human Fruit or like Luffy and Sengoku with Nika and Buddha, Mythical Zoans. I'm pretty sure someone somewhere has the Uo Uo no Mi: Anciant Zoan Megalodon or the Uo Uo no Mi: Mythical Zoan Leviathan, just like there's possibly an Uo Uo no Mi: Model Blue Whale or White Shark or Octopus or.... Mythical Zoan Kraken might be on Elbaf arc, who knows ? The point is Kaido dragon form IS NOT his awakening. Kaido was literally just having fun playing thugwar, he was giving it his all, and we have yet to see his Awakening. So far, we've seen that all Zoan Awakening have those Cloud Veil around them and be able to move or control your body in ways inconceivable logically by nature. And they don't fall easily. I'd argue Kaido's awakening might've been from a Fish to a Dragon. The nomenclature for the models are still very accurate. -Leopards and Tigers are technically cats, and are classified as Big Cats. So the Cat Cat class is accurate. -Wolves are Dogs..or at least, dogs are a subspecies of Wolf. So the Dog Dog class is semi-accurate -The reason Dragon is used for the Dinosaur fruits is because the Japanese word for Dinosaur is 恐竜 or Kyoryu. 恐 is the Kanji that means Scary or Freighting. "竜" or Ryuu means Dragon. So together, Kyoryu translates to "Terrifying Dragon" which is called "Dinosaur" in English. So the Dragon Dragon class is also very accurate Kaido's fruit is a Fish class, meaning he's a Fish, likely a Carp. He probably had to overcome some kind of challenge to awaken into the Seiryu. Much like how Luffy originally only had a rubber fruit, but later gained new abilities and a new form upon his awakening.

@@svz1345 lineage factors. If the ability was taken after Kaido awakened a Dragon form, then subsequent users would automatically be a dragon. If it were taken when he was a fish, they'd be fish. If Luffy's power was recreated pre gear 5th, they'd be just rubber abilities. If they were taken in Gear 5th, I'd argue there'd be more Nika. Lineage factors change when consuming devil fruits. As far as God Valley, there's a devil fruit encyclopedia in the canon story. Sanji has had access to one as a child, it's hard to believe the Tenryuubito wouldn't also have a copy. The gorosei even mention the Gomu Gomu isn't listed in any book. By way of the book, you can learn anything about the fruits and their abilities if they've been documented I wouldn't say that these points debunk the notion, but they are viable concerns

An awakening is only available for the user that accessed it through devil fruit mastery. The Manga literally says through kaido "awakening is when your mind and body catch up to your powers". It's also been shown Zoan users have their personalities altered or even risk to be erased when awakening happens. So there's clearly a special condition that you must mentally and physically achieve not only to access but to use an awakening without losing your personality. If you ate a fruit and it directly gave you awakening powers cause the previous user awakened it, you'd lose yourself based on the lore cause you just ate the fruit, you're not mentally and physically prepared to handle it. Momo ate the fruit at 8 years. There's no way he was mentally and physically ready to handle a Mythical Zoan awakening. Also, vegapunk researched dfs and leanage factors for decades, and pefectioned his research so much he could feed devil fruits to inanimate objects. If he said he doesn't know if artificial zoans can awaken, that's cause none of those he created granted any awakening and he very likely experimented to try and trigger it (remember that the jailer beasts were forced to awaken through experiments). If the dragon transformation was an awakening, he would've known. Also, you're basically saying with your argument that kaido's devil fruit is more unique than Luffy's nika fruit, and Kaido's devil fruit, as far as the Manga goes, works exactly like any other Zoan we've seen and there's absolutely no lore or information in or outside the Manga that even remotely suggest what you're saying is a possibility that occurred in the Manga. And if then you factor in the fact that all Zoan devil fruit follow the same pattern of classification, the only logical conclusion is that kaido isn't a fish, and never was. He's a dragon. I think the Manga clearly debunks that idea. Everything in it says kaido's fruit transforms you into a dragon, not a literal fish.

@@svz1345 that's where the lineage factors come in. Kaido's lineage factors are in the artificial pink dragon fruit, as it was derived from Kaido and not a different user. The basic requirement for awakening wouldn't apply to the secondary fruit user if the primary had already awakened when the copy was made. In essence, the fruit would be jail broken already for Momo lol. If Kaido was not awakened, then Momo would also be just a fish. We have similarities as well. Out of all the awakened Zoan users, all of them with control have Hagoromo no tenin (Celestial Feather Scarf) to signify their divine nature: -Luffy has a Hagoromo -Yamato has a Hagoromo -Kaido and Momo both have Hagoromo in their full Zoan forms -All the Gorosei have Hagoromo -Kaku and Lucci both have Hagoromo. The only character to have a Hagoromo no tenin and not be awakened Zoan is Enel in his Amaru thunder god form, which might be a form of awakening retrospectivy Vegapunk's statement remains true even with my statements in mind, as the fruit came awakened, and didn't awaken subsequently. Most mythical zoans are wonky.. Luffy's fruit doesn't act like the others, as he can instantly turn food into power bypassing the traditional fast recovery of awakened Zoan into near instantaneous recovery. There's also no Hybrid or full Zoan mode for Luffy's fruit either, it's more Paramecia based than Zoan (as to be expected since I feel the Nika Zoan is a bit of an ass pull ngl lol) Kaido's fruit provides him with durability increase even in base form. Mythical Zoans are always very different than other Zoan fruits. Sengoku can literally turn into a giant golden Buddha that shoots shockwaves, how that has anything to do with having the powers of a Buddha is completely up to the author's interpretation and vision. I'd argue this take is very much consistent with the media and the manga on context rather than isolated cherry picked incidents

The fact that egghead didn’t have a stronger villain than kaido or even big mom says it all. Oda didn’t have room to go higher for an arc like egghead, so he had to challenge the strawhats by presenting multiple factions of respectable opponents (CP0, seraphim, an admiral (Kizaru) and Gorosei) None of the Gorosei proved to be on par with yonko. They are comfortably between admiral and yonko on the power scale. They are technically unbeatable due to their immortality, but their offense is lacking compared to the likes of kaido and big mom. If we could just figure out the counter to their regeneration, then they’ll be beatable.

The story has already introduced at least 5 characters that through portrayal and certain story implications, are stronger than kaido (WB, Roger, Rocks, Joyboy and Imu) and the story has already shown us feats greater than his, such us shanks and joyboy's haki feats. That doesn't mean shanks would low diff kaido (that's what I mean by he will never be powercliffed). And yes, there are mysterious characters that have yet to show their true power and certain abilities that have yet to be explored in the story, but again, does that mean those individuals will completely outclass kaido to the point of arguing he'd be low diffed or mid diffed? As for logia awakening, regardless of how powerful they are, Oda has already portrayed most of those logia users as inferior to kaido anyways (Greenbul, kizaru, Sabo, monet, Caesar, smoker, potentially aokiji). There are few whose portrayal would put them above kaido with logia awekenings such as akainu or blackbeard, but those always had the possibility of being equal or above kaido eventually. Like I said at the end of the video, there will be people stronger than kaido, like you said, it's a Shonen, but they won't powercliff him. And if some do, they'd be a very small few. Oda has already hinted at kaido being capable of fighting legends like Roger, WB and rocks (who are essentially the pinnacle of power among pirates) in a serious way (his comment about his top 5). That means, at least imo, that kaido's power lvl is endgame material, therefore he won't be outclassed.

Luffy did not beat kizaru fairly lol. Luffy got revived in egg head the same amount of time he did in rooftop and each of this revival is gear fifth this time. Kizaru tanked luffys star gun and got up quicker than Luffy did while Luffy was unconscious getting food handed to him. The food revives him to full strength as he stated himself so it's like getting a extra bar of full energy

Regardless of the circumstances, all luffy needed to incapacitate kizaru was 1 attack. Whether kizaru could've stood up faster and he was using that as an excuse not to do his job is up in the air. To me, kizaru only stood up when he could, cause he still killed vegapunk anyways. Kaido in comparison took far more damage than kizaru if we consider every attack kaido took from the scabbards all the way to g5 before the final clash and he was never on the ground for more than 30 secs (highballing it). So my point still stands that luffy incapacitating Kizaru means the admirals aren't as strong as kaido and won't surpass him. Obviously the nuances are meant to tell us that an Admiral at full power can push a yonko to a very difficult scenario, but nothing suggests the Admiral would win (akainu is an exception to this). And luffy was never unconscious.

I'd estimate kaido to be around 2.5 meals/revival of current Luffy and kizaru to be around 1.5. This is derived at by replacing kaido with Luffy in rooftop. He would wipe the scabbard without running out of energy and then barely beat the pre acoc Luffy+law+kidd. He would then need to use his second meal of food and get past everyone including Zoro and Yamato and the acoc Luffy that got ambushed. He would then need his last energy bar to fight rooftop gear 5 luffy who pulled his energy out of nowhere, with energy to spare.
