I just watched both Yoon brand builds. My preference is this one. Which is weird because I don’t usually like “open” style watches. The touch of color and lumed chapter ring are very nice design touches. It makes it very unique without being too busy. Very very well done sir.

I truly hope you filmed the build process. I love to see the details that are needed to get from raw product to finished product. It's even hypnotizing to look at! And, your final version looks fantastic! What a really beautiful design! The only suggestion I might have is that you need ANY index for the lume as a frame of reference. Otherwise you look at it and it's just two hands inside a ring. If there's some reference (12 dot, day window, etc.) you can pick out exactly what the time is.

A tour of your shop and too.s would be great. Also, you have shown photoshop and mocking up a watch. Where are you getting the individual part files? Do you create them, does any manufacturer offer them. Sometimes it hard to visualize exactly what I want and if I had the ability to have say 50 different vector files of dials, crowns, cases etc. I could put things together until I found a look that I like. Then I know what parts to get for a mod. I’m new to this so might be available already but was curious. Yoon watch is killer by the way. Thanks

Amazing work! You mentioned anodized dials. May I suggest bluing them in the traditional way with light flame? The colors are dramatic and an added bit of hands-on. Try it!

I did flame anodize before, but its never truly 100% uniform throughout. Plus with the issues that may be introduced from the heat, flame anodizing is not always practical if you're going for a uniform color anyways.

@@LumeShot have you seen a kid by the name of Masahiro Kikuno? Your smarts and skill remind me of him. You would be correct on the uniformity and repeatability of heat treating. I heat treat my own screws and such just because it's fun! But I totally understand. You've come a looong way in a relatively short time if you think about it. Then add on filming editing producing and ya gotta have personality. You got it. Once again congrats on the watch. It's quite an accomplishment!
