I have been eating pasties for a good number of years and I have always had gravy with them! I am from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, home of the Reynold’s pastie! They are not the best in the world but they sure do wonders in a pinch!

I understand.. maybe it is just a Yooper thing but they don't do gravy and will give anyone a "you ain't from around here look". lol I didn't think it was bad the time I tried with gravy.

Seems like I remember Jean Kay's pasty has a white sauce inside the pasty. Not a lot, but was all round very good.

In the Veggie one there is cheese which is white. :-)

Bessie’s in St. Ignace makes a “Hungryman” Pastie that is huge. That Vegan one looks like a potato. LOL

We thought it looked like a potato too! lol I tried Bessie's once in St Ignace and to be honest I didn't like it - maybe I caught them on a bad day. I thought Letho's was much better.

They didn't look very appetizing either.

I try to avoid saying bad things but at the same time gotta be honest.. I wouldn't get them again..
