York Before the Expedition

This was very interesting. The weird relationship between a slave owner and slave I just can’t wrap my mind around. Especially when the majority of them “slave owners” claimed to believe in God. I think York is a wonderful example of courage and determination in one of the most mentally and physically challenging circumstances a human being could be forced into. He must have been a humble yet strong and courageous person. Loved this one Ben!
