York Review: 32 - Northallerton

Northallerton is the final town I'm visiting in North-West Yorkshire. What a milestone, what an achievement - Northallerton is a special town to me for this reason alone, but are there other reasons to come by?
I'm cycling to every large town near me in order of ascending distance, and rating them - with the end goal of reaching Flamborough. This is York Review!

Just been today. Awful place completely dominated by and subservient to the private car. More traffic congestion than in central Leeds. Very disappointing.

I know what you mean - the central road is *very* busy. You don't notice the congestion as much when you cycle in though!
