There are definitely more York Reviews on the way! I usually let other videos jump the queue when they're group efforts - I don't want people waiting for York Review to finish before seeing their adventures

What kind of willerby would willerby be without a chippy whilst looking at Harper's of staxton fish and chip shop 😂 staxton is next to willerby you rode through it thinking it was willerby easy mistake, I live 5 minutes up the road and it took me 40 years to know willerby even existed.😂.

I could not stop laughing at the commentary and the plight you were in from Corryholly. Though I think the funniest part was when I saw all the tins of food what someone had bought. it looked like a supermarket shop for a month. Great video, loved it. On a positive note you have walked three stages of the Cape Wrath Trail (CWT), why not do the whole thing , please. :) I've done it three times (CWT)and yes your initial mistake was to cross the river (your initial camp) by Corryholly and I would have gone back to Corryhully but the entertainment from the initial river crossing was hilarious. Excellent video, hope to see you all on the Cape Wrath trail. I will keep an eye out for that flapjack that was dropped :)
@StatusMirror5 ай бұрын
Great comment! I think having a tin-stuffed bag probably led to my knee pain, so it's a fair critique. CWT sounds interesting too! I hope you landed on the weather for at least one of your treks - I'm yet to see evidence that Knoydart ever gets sunny ;)

I don't think this is a spoiler because I don't think Stu has footage of this, but at a later bothy we met a man who hollowed out a tin of spam (or think it was something else like corned beef or maybe even haggis) and used it as a shot glass to drink whisky. It looked incredibly suspect.

I really like your clip here , that pit was actually huge im sure there pics of it from the 80s . It wasn't Barnsley Main, but Oaks Colliery that exploded ... which became part of the later Barnsley Main site kind of . There were quite a few pit disasters in the Barnsley area at that time , very sad when you read the history of it and those familys left with no breadwinner. Much of the Western side of Barnsley on the Pennine foothills lies within the Peak District NP . the way you came into Barnsley via Wath is, or rather was the heart of the Barnsley Coalfield (mostly eastern side of Barnsley Area). You rode on mostly old coal railway lines . 👍
