X) Anthropologists often wonder at the "why" of European standing stone monuments, but this video answered the question: it was brothers marking up the landscape for friendly competitions! All jokes aside, this video was great fun. Scenery, spot-the-fossil, nodule cracking, and a bit of everybody-wins tension. Perfect!

I have a few places in the woods on a hill where I find these a lot. One time while cracking one open a rather large one, it split right down the middle exposing the inside of the ammonite. In the middle cavity of the shell was sand. Yes sand . from the day I guess it died. There's no sand around and this was in cased in rock. Very neat to think that sand had not seen the sun for eons . ever happen to you guys?. Love the video guys❤

We only live up the road in northshields and travel down 2 port mulgrave were we bumped in2 a friend of urs who's name we didn't catch he was fantastic he gave zak a couple of small ammonites and took the time 2 show him how 2 spot ammonites in the beach pebbles which drastically inprooved what we find zak now has the start of a collection and we have invested in some finer tools 2 learn 2 prep his finds! He wants a big thaw hammer and big muscles just like shay 😂! Thanks in advance for everything he is learning off uz

if you ever want to see fossils galaore and im saying huge walls of fossils or cliffs and beaches covered, you need to go to KODIAK ISLAND ALASKA,we have a beach called fossil beach and its like the earth slid off and all of history is in the walls.grew up there and its like history frozen in time.way better than anything ive seen in your videos.
