Another unbelievable hiking day. Hetch Hetchy is located north of Yosemite Valley, and actually has a completely separate entrance. It is another valley, with similarities to the famous scenery in Yosemite Valley. Except, it is not at all crowded, even in the middle of summer! We enjoyed a hike mostly by ourselves, in a beautiful sunny day, past the reservoir that goes to San Francisco, the rocks and domes that haven't been as celebrated but are gorgeous, and an under-appreciated waterfall. Then we came back and hiked with a ranger, experiencing Yosemite under the stars!
