Good show. You are tough... Yosemite Falls is a tough hike.... just up to Columbia Point has too many switchbacks. We grew up going to beautiful Yosemite every summer. i like your Feb. visit, I'll be there late March 2023. Always exciting...thanks much.

Think I'm going to pass again on Yosemite for 2023. Someday... those crowds are discouraging for me but I'm thankful you shared your adventures. Excellent video.

Thank you! I appreciate you watching my adventure. :) Yeah, sadly all the National Parks get super crowded these days. Especially in the summer months. Yosemite isn’t too bad in the winter, I just happened to be there during Fire Falls, which attracts large crowds. With proper weather preparations, going off-season is usually the best bet!

Don't go where the crowds are! That simple. Explore off the beaten path, still in the rules and trails. My family has been going since the 50's. The only way the crowds would bug us, is if we go where the crowds are. The more you go, the more you find with less people. Don't cheat yourself out of visiting one of the treasures of our planet. Good luck.

Nice video. You have a pleasant voice. Brawny towels- LOL. Yosemite is so beautiful. You need to see it in June when you can hike in the higher elevations and the streams are running high. Worth the trip. BTW, it’s pronounced Too-all-um-me.

I knew I was probably saying it wrong! Lol. And yes-I’d love to return in the summer months!

I will be there this coming early february...staying near fish camp for 2 days.... still concern about driving from SF to Yosemite but looks like snowing is somewhat delay? I havent seen any in Yosemite cams only in Sierra Nevada I got our spikes for shows and layers for clothing since we are from a tropical country. I like your idea of first day just driving around since I think I will be leaving SF at 11am maybe reaching fish camp by 1:30pm or so... then second day full for Mariposa trail and see the valley... what trail do you recomend the most for first time visitors?

Hi. Love your footages. I am planning to visit early Dec but I have no experience driving in snowy conditions. I understand that rental car companies do not allow snow chains. What will be your advise? Tks.

Thanks for getting the trash. It wasn't mine :P I was there many Februarys ago. There was a little less snow, and the falls weren't quite as full. I was hoping for snow, but this way I got to go to the top of Upper Yosemite Fall. A winter with little snow is the only way you can see the snow cone. Had you gone all the way down to the lookout, you'd have had a better view of the water going over. Was it too slippery?
@nicolinenovels2 жыл бұрын
I didn’t realize there was a better view from down there otherwise I would have! It wasn’t too slippery, just a bit narrow on that ledge with my big boots on. And yes-I’m always picking up trash! Sad that so many people leave their litter on the trails.

Only problem I have with introductory videos like this, the use of a very pretty girl possibly dressing up the park experience looking at it through rose tinted specs. While Yosemite has the highest number of visitors it also boasts the highest number of missing people !

I appreciate your feedback! I actually talk about being properly prepared and the dangers of the wilderness in a lot of my other videos. In these videos, I share things as they happen. If I get into any situations myself, I share that as teaching moments for others. If I’m thinking about something, I talk about it, and that’s what ends up in the videos. I agree with you though-people need to understand the dangers of nature and the importance of being prepared.
