I'm 75 years old and live in Fresno County for 60 years. I have camped Across America in 31 States from coast to coast and Canada in my lifetime. Yosemite and the Sequoias are in my backyard and nothing I have seen including the Grand Canyon is as impressive as Yosemite. I go every chance I can but it's difficult for me now to go where you went. Thank you for making this video for those of us who love God's creation but physically cannot go there anymore. God bless all of you!

I have lived in Fresno for nearly all 35 years of my life and I feel so incredibly blessed to live so close to the Sierra Nevadas. My dad took me all over the Sierras from 5 years old on, fishing, hiking and camping. I just got back from camping with my wife and daughters in Kings Canyon National Park. My dad joined us for the day. Feels like just yesterday he was giving me the advice I was giving my daughters. How time flies! Out of all the places I have been none are as breathtakingly beautiful as Yosemite Valley and the Cedar Grove/Roads End area of Kings Canyon. Both feel timeless yet constantly changing all at once. They are very very special places and both are near and dear to my heart.

OMG, Well the 4 of you guys didn't change a bit from 2015 to 2024 :). This is a very sweet and charming episode where all of you had your cute baby faces. Your personality have remained the same, the strong bond and friendship is unwavering through the coming years to present, 2024! This is a really special episode for me, seeing all of you so young and together enjoying life, and with such unique morality that didn't change throughout the over 50 episodes releases (in 2023)

There are so many things I like about your episodes. First, you guys have genuine camaraderie and it comes out on camera which is something you can’t script. Second, your music is calm and soothing which goes well with your videos. A lot of outdoor videos have horrible, loud techno music blasting away which really doesn’t go with hiking videos. Third, your narration really adds so much to your overall story. Keep the videos coming guys I’m a big fan!!!

I lived and worked in the park for 6 years and my little stone house on the meadow in Yosemite valley had an unobstructed view of Half Dome when I opened my front door. The place is magical and it was easily the best 6 years of my life.

1:04 Evening Philosophy. Yosemite is a spiritual place, especially when you are in the back country. When I was a young man we would pack horses to Minnow Lake once a year to cleanse our mind and body. We brought a shower bag and no weed. THE BEST times ever. I am hoping to bring my kids this year or next. Haven't been back in 30 years. Love your video guys.

I'm 65 now and I can't go climbing mountains anymore not that I could ever climb those like you guys did but just being able to see it from your perspective made it so enjoyable. It was so beautiful too and refreshed my soul just watching it so thank you all very much. We did come out west in the year 2000 from Pennsylvania and spent two weeks mostly driving but we saw 12 national parks and Yosemite was one of them. But we only had one day there so you know we didn't get to see nearly everything we wanted to. We knew we may never get out there again so we wanted to see as much as we possibly could.

I was jealous watching you guys lighting up fire in cold morning and evening under the breathtaking open sky.…what a life! My goal is to hike it again before I die. Please make more wilderness video. My Husband and I traveled to Yosemite a couple of years ago. We live in Australia, and are a couple in our 60's, who stumbled across this video this morning. The journey these four amazing young men took us on was the most enjoyable and rewarding adventure we could ever have had even if we had been able to do this trek ourselves. It showed us how much Mother Nature, life long Friends and a will to get such an amazing message through to Humanity, can impact on our lives. This video is one of the most interesting, brilliantly composed, and entertaining productions you could want to experience. MAKE SURE YOU VIEW ALL OF THIS VIDEO!!!! Thanks Guys for taking the time, and having the passion to give us the chance of living the dream with you. Your loved ones would be so proud of what you have done and the amazing young men you have become. All the very best and my Husband and I will follow all your travels. Dave and Di

Thanks, guys, Loved the exuberance, the energy, the camaraderie, your philosophical outlook and values - and the great photography. Am a 79 yr old, a late bloomer to hiking, day hikes starting at 51, but did manage to somewhat make up for lost time. I did the Falls trail 6 times, over to Yosemite Point twice, but never to North Dome, so thanks for the view. Hope you get back sometime late May or early June, weather pleasant, but a totally different experience when the waters are at peak. And to Half Dome, too. And to Zion. And to the Grand Canyon trails to the Colorado River, (all before you get married and begin settling on to other important matters in life [of course]). May your life's journey be a joyous pilgrimage. And thanks again for warmly stirring my memories. Joe

I climbed up to some falls in Yosemite when I was about 17.I remember there were a few less people and the camp sites we stayed at had quite a bit more distance and trees between them. Behind our camp site there was water and a bear trail. The day we made it up to the falls, there was a big pool of cold water that we very much enjoyed a swim in. It was one of the best times of my life and you guys just allowed me to relive it. Thank you. What an amazing trip, good company and good food.

Second note; this is literally the best video I've seen on KZbin. I love national parks, HD video (I shoot with Sony A7ii), camping, nature, etc, the footage was amazing! How many camera batteries did you all carry!!!? Did you ever get anxious out there?

+Evan Brand Thanks so much for the kind words! We had 10-12 batteries for this trip (can't remember the exact number). Which wasn't enough haha. The GH4 has a great battery so I thought that would be enough, but we shot a ton of footage. And if you meant did we get anxious about not having enough batteries, yes haha! -Robby

I remember when I went to Yosemite I was with my mother, we had little experience with hiking and exploration, but we went off trail a lot, but it paid off. I remember there was about 50 people on the on the other side of us, a water fall in between us and 50 people. We were sitting on a huge rock together enjoying the view, we ended up getting lost a few hours later until we decided to randomly explore and we found a road, we followed the road and ended up finding our car, quite some luck there lol.

that was refreshing and reminds me of when i was 20, which was in 1971. So yu see, even us older folks did stuff and thought just like you way back when as we struggled thru Yosemite and Kings Canyon and Sequoia National. Yes I do remember when the most important stuff was just like you said, family friends and the nature of things which will bring more joy than bustin your ass for the man. Oh, and in my day we were called hippies, so again something old is new again and its fun to see that happening out there somewhere in the wilderness which makes me feel so much better about climbing Tunnel Mountain in July, all 3000 meters at the age of 65. Best of luck with all your future adventures.

Haha, that is great. It's pretty cool to think about how so many people have visited the same place and had similar thoughts, seeing the same cliffs towering around the valley. It'll be interesting to see how people down the road get inspired by places like Yosemite. Thanks so much for your comment, and thank you for watching! -Andrew
