I remember the first wave of MOTU Origins. Me, and my friend found them at Walmart. We joked about adults buying action figures dorks. Now we are both full fledged MOTU Origins collectors.

Truth! Collecting became a chore when i was selling figures from ebay. Once I dropped that side hustle, the stress fell along with it. Along with the Ebay and Paypal monthly taxes lol. Thanks for sharing. @@collegetoycollector

Omg you have no idea how randomly coming across this video made me so happy. Love seeing your enthusiasm for Motu. Ive been all in on everything since 2020 when i first saw figures coming out. The Landshark commercial is so funny, all the old commercials are hilarious. It’s crazy how, just about every new product got its own commercial at the time. I did see the new ‘24 reveals, I am very excited!! Cringer is amazing, I can’t wait to get him!

@@collegetoycollector You MAY have found your little niche with Disco Skellie (just has to come with the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack!) ;-D As for the classic commercials - nearly every other figure and playset or vehicle had one, it WAS the 80s after all! A few of my faves were the teases they did for the Evil Horde, the *rapping* "master power" for Thunder Punch He-Man and Dragon Blaster Skeletor with the frozen kid in the background! X-D

@@chrisbcritter the frozen kid in the background is so funny, I love watching that commercial. It’s so cool that every figure got a commercial, they were so creative and funny. I would’ve loved to be on set for one of those commercials. I like the one that says “Hordak Hordak Hordak… Skeletor Skeletor Skeletor” it’s so funny. Maybe one day, I’ll have a go at recreating some of those commercials 🤣

I’m not exactly the biggest fan of the Filmation aesthetic, though I did cave and start collecting them. I do wish they had just continued with the original body. Back to the idea of customs, Hermione and I did customize an older King Randor from hire he appears in “The Search for Keldor.” We also created an Anti-Eternia Man-At-Arms; check out the video on our channel!

I just watched Pixel Dan’s video on that today! There were a lot of really cool ones. I’m not the biggest fan of Turtle’s of Grayskull, it’s a neat concept but not for me; however I am looking forward to Cringer and Adam, that translucent Mer-man, and the new Snakemen. I’m also very excited for the new Masterverse figures, especially Syklone, oh and how could I almost forget to mention the Bone Throne!!?!

Masterverse is killing it. I find that I am becoming more and more excited about Masterverse than Origins. I preordered the Skeletor Throne today. I can't wait! I appreciate your enthusiasm and content. Keep up the good work!
