Why does the volume go out of sync with the video halfway through?

One of the downsides of recording with the Visual Boy Advance's built-in recording feature. It gets pretty bad after about a minute and a half, so I usually try to sync* the audio it at a point where the player is not in control (like the pipe at 3:44) *Really, the button sequence was recorded as I play, and the video+audio recording comes later. Because of the above recording issue, I have to break the video up into clips to try to fix it. If I remember, this means stopping the recording, restarting the level (and recorded play), and picking up the recording again at that point.

Are you used to the SNES version? They did indeed change quite a few things for the GBA release.
