Love the channel. Recently crashed my sv650 and fuck i miss the bike. Had the white and blue whit the same exhaust and sounds like the gods. I would highly recommend replacing stock tyres with the new michelin power rs. Youll kill any corner on what is too me the most nimble bike out there.

Sound much more deep, rumbly, barky with an Arrow header/midpipe attached to that sweet Yosh. And get an ECU flash as Suzuki has restricted the snot out of it.

Do research. Google images of "SV650 dyno" and make sure the results are for 2017+ and figure out what the mods are, if any. I'd be looking for an ECU flash which will undoubtedly unlock all the restrictions that Suzuki are forced to put in there, which trim ignition, trim throttlebody butterflies, add speed limiters, reduce max revs (may or may not be a good idea to increase redline, depends largely on the engine), leans out fueling, makes engine run too hot, cuts injectors completely off-throttle, and hosts more problems. All that can be easily fixed with some clicks of a mouse and a quality flash. If you're going to do exhaust, don't bother with slip-ons for performance. They are only sound changes. Go full system as the power is made in good head pipes without a stuffy cat in the way. Full Arrow exhaust on the DL V-stroms sounds awesome. Bet it would be great on the SV.

I have the same bike (in Blue) and am considering the same exhaust. It sounds great in your vid but I was just wondering how much louder it is than stock? The police around here are fairly strict on loud exhausts.

I'd say its not too much louder (compared to my MT-07 with full exhaust) probably around 30-35% louder without dB killer. Even quieter with dB killer in. I don't think you have to worry with just a slip on. But if you decide to get a full headers then its a different story :)

I have no idea why Suzuki put such a God awful looking exhaust on the bike in the first place especially since a lot of others in this class are simply putting theirs under the engine. It's humongous!

completely different layout for this bike. All the competitors are parallel twins with the exhausting manifold on the front of the bike, this has half the exhaust manifold running through the middle of the bike. Gotta fit the rest of the pipe somewhere.

Maybe they have to build it that way for regulatory reasons whereas that is not a concern for aftermarket silencers. It just so honking big.
