4:24 Godamnit this part alone already made me cry, I can't imagine how it'll be when it plays during Natlan's arc climax. It's incredible how it can pass so much emotions just with the translated lyrics; they achieved it in Swahili which I don't even speak but feel like learning now just because of this. I mean, as I saw someone say, I'm feeling patriotic for a nation that doesn't even exist! You can also note how the choir is vibing on the 2nd track, like they're warriors eager for battle, it's such the musical experience. If Genshin doesn't get put into a museum later, I'll lose faith in humankind.

I tear up almost everytime at this part and the first time i listened to it did not even have the translation and it still moved me. The melody is simple but the way the choir and lead sang, and the traditional instruments stood out, it's just powerful🥹🔥

I'm a classical flutist. I've always been fascinated with cultural flutes. But when Genshin came out and began incorporating these instruments into a classical orchestra, it further solidified my love for the miriad of flutes or there. Since being introduced to the game, I have expanded my collection from a few concert flutes and piccolo (Monstadt and Fontaine) to the Chinese Xiao (Liuye), a Pan Flute (the 23 pipe one, not the Siku shown in the video), and a Guinean Fula Flute (Natlan teaser). In the future, i plan to get a Chinese Dizi (Liyue), a Japanese Shakuhachi (Inazuma), an Indian Bansuri (Sumeru), a Peruvian Siku or pan flute (Natlan) and a Peruvian Quena (Natlan). There's so much cool stuff out there! This video features the Quena, Siku, Ocarina, Banjo, Ukelele, Balafon (Xylophone), Kora (gourd harp), Steel Drum, and a handful of African percussion! Also can't forget the kalimba!

The first one seems like the main theme song for Natlan, probably will be played in game when the story conclude, while the second one is the battle theme for the overworld. As a player I can guarantee you I’ll be standing there mid battle with a shield on for the longest time possible to listen to the battle theme all the way😂.

The original chinese used the characters Mu (as in the mythical continent of Mu usually conflated with Atlantis) and Nata (the characters used for Natlan). So technically they should be called "Children of Munata". Also take note that one of the ancient civilization eras revealed during the Fontaine world quest involving the Narzissenkreuz Ordo, was named Natlantean era. So they could technically be the "Children of Natlantis". Lastly the original chinese used "God of fire" instead of the english "Lady of fire". Especially since (spoilers below): . . . . . . . . it's been leaked that the original pyro archon Xbalanque was male.

all the region is actually pretty great in GI even at Mondstad the epilogue chapter! Dvalin zone and boss theme for Mondstad Liyue Chinese orchestra and classic Chinese novel vibe Inazuma went full Samurai movie, one that make you feel like you're dueling with actual samurai the moment we heard battle theme. now Hoyomix getting even much better than their initial start and we got Sumeru Frontaine and Natlan

IMO Fontaine had best symphony orchestra, Sumeru has the best overall sound track (by a mile), and Natlan is yet to be seen but based on simulanka’s music (the x.8 updates have music for the next nation usually or just ost similar sounding to ease people into the nation’s ost) I think it will be overall better than Fontaine and is yet to be determined if it overtakes Sumeru’s overall OST

I know its hard to pick, but which one did you like more? Natlan's or Fontaine's music? I personally think Natlan's music has so much soul making it emotional without any further context other than the music. While Fontaine's music is technically immaculate and the theme holds a special place in my heart, plus the story that adds so much emotional context. It's still crazy I thought nothing could beat Fontaine and now hoyo has done it again with just the music of Natlan, making it terribly difficult to pick, thats just so amazing
