I've watched a lot of auto enthusiasts on here but I watch this channel the most. It's not just your skill in building awesome trucks it's your attitude and how you really put all of yourself into the project. Then there the editing. You put together good videos that are watchable and satisfying. I wish you the best of success.

The black is a nice touch I dig it. Sound deadening will help alot with heat and noise, and in general making the cab a nicer place to sit. The lack of structure Toyota provided back then made those little trucks totally suck on a long ride, I had a 78 that was atrocious.

I love your enthusiasm for these builds. It’s not just content to you so it’s not just content to me either. Blown away with what you can do! I think what you CANNOT do would be a shorter list. Thank you for sharing and creating. Keep it up.

Congrats on a full teardown. Did the same on my F250. Just remember where everything goes, you're probably taking lots of pictures. When laying a cab on its back, I usually put a couple layers of foam insulation board on the floor just so you don't dent or crease anything you'll have to fix later.

What an amazing transformation! The things I like about what you do are number 1 your knowledge, number 2 your skill, number 3 that you explain everything so well and include links to everything in the description and I’ll bet that the product you end up with is 10 times better than the product from the factory when it was new. Awesome job dude, really enjoy your vids! 😎👌👍

Your channels become one of my favorites. And as someone who's painted professionally for about 10 years now Im impressed. One suggestion though. When spraying (most) single stages, drop the pressure down to 14-16 at the cap. Lays down much better and less overspray that can settle. Also you should try nason urethane single stage. Worlds better than tamco and not that much more expensive

Had the same thought on pressure/overspray. When I was shooting a couple weeks ago, started seeing a ton of overspray and burning through product. Found my pinkie finger had bumped the regulator dial up to 40psi dynamic. Brought it back down below 20 and all was well again. Easy mistake to make, a piece of tape may prevent the dial turning accidentally.
@austinniemela2 жыл бұрын
@@branchandfoundry560 keep in mind the sun was beamin which makes the over spray appear to be much worse than in reality!

Austin this truck is going to be amazing!! finally getting the treatment it deserves can't wait till it's finished. this mini truck will be show worthy when you are done for sure.🤯🤯 You should definitely think about a wood plank bed for the truck something dark would look so sick, especially if you are still thinking about keeping the patina on the outside.
