Put some cavity wax in the doors before you finish final assembly to prevent them from rusting out. To protect the truck even further put some rhino liner on the rockers and bottom 6” of the doors

Awesome work dude... I spent an entire summer sanding, stripping, patching, filling, priming, more sanding, prepping, painting. Body work is a slow, painful death... But it's going to look great when you have it all complete! Don't forget to paint the inside of your rocker panels (notorious for rust). Eastwood sells an Internal Frame Paint with extension hose which is perfect for this!

Hey Bro. I did a build with a LN166 Hilux. You can seal the mirror holes on the door. the Tacoma mirrors with on those same doors. Really no need to get new doors. Oh and while you are at it you should seal off the antenna hole and install an electric antenna after.

Buy an old bed, and cut the sides. And fab some mounts points. So you cover the sides of the frame closer to the cabin. And then you can use a inner fender mud guards.

The doors you can just swap the glass and tracks. It is the same door so you can paint it and change the glass when you find the glass you want...

Not for nothing but why do you wanna get rid of the Wing Windows? Unless yours are falling apart which I'm willing to bet they aren't because they usually don't get used that often they are probably in good shape! In any case I think they are pretty cool and very usefully when you want a little airflow inside the cab! Either way nice job with what you have done with the build! Coming along Great! You are definitely motivated to get it done so keep it up! 😁

Maybe it's because I'm a bit older and started of driving cars with wings vents, but why would you want to remove and replace doors with wing vents? I thought they were one of the great things about riding around with the windows down. Enjoy the videos and the camera is great.

Get a wide angle lens not a fisheye but just a wide angle will make your videos better. The stock lenses aren’t that great and are more for shots from a distance
