I recently saw something that siad when you plan fails to meet your goal, change your plans, not your goal. Your approach to this paint job reminded me of that. You know the outcome you want and you're doing what you have to do to get there. Looks great so far, I'm sure the whole truck will be great once you're done.

Usually when painting the translucent colors you put a base down (over the sealer always seal) like a white or silver for light reds or black for dark i realize this info is late it looks good the way you did it

So jealous of this project, subscribed and I've been watching all your videos. What a great truck! Have you considered setting up a taping couple panel filters in your windows and using a fan blowing out to create negative pressure in your garage? Looks like you've got your wood stove going, so things are warm and dry.

Austin buy yourself some foam masking tap to make quick work of masking all the door jams and the hood to fender gap. leaves a nice transition line if used correctly. or if you know what flip tape is and know how to roll the edge of the tape using your leg do that too, id hire you to prep, paint work any day. great work!

@@austinniemela I worked in a smaller shop and my boss wouldn't buy the machine, you can use your leg to flip the edge, its actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it. good luck!

Just a water separator, regulator and a desiccant filter on the inlet of the gun!

I would have masked the outside of the truck when you painted the jams because now you have to sand the over spray because you paint the outside , right? Looks great tho
