I’ve been looking for some ideas for my 2023 Limited. Got it with 6 miles on it in August of last year. About to hit 9k miles on it and still haven’t found any decent options that doesn’t involve swapping out the whole front end.

@@samdonlick it's really annoying. Happened after I installed the Diode Dynamics fogs and upgraded the headlights.

I'm assuming you're talking about where it clips under the headlight and on the fender? I've never had the issue you are explaining. I would make sure everything is lined up properly and clipped all the way in. If you want, shoot us an email at [e-mail] and we can try to help you out.

Love your videos. Is it possible to install front and real valances to 2024 SR5 ?

The SR5 models do not come with factory valances. In order to get the valances to fit, you must remove the bumpers and cut slots in them for all the tabs. If you look at the back side of the bumper you can see the spots that need to be cut.

wish you'd do a 4runner bumper uninstall video. there are others on youtube, but not with your videography and instruction quality. particularly hard to find a video with the cruise control disconnect on 2020+ models.

when you tap into the DRLs wire will the raptor lights only light up when the switch is in the DRL position? or will they also light up at night when i have my headlights on?

If you hook the raptor lights up to the marker lights on the 4runner, the raptor lights will be on in DRL position and headlights on position.

What type of wire tap would be best and what size wire?

The grille will fit but you will have to cut slits for the valances to be installed because the sr5 doesn't come with valances.

Looks like you guys refined the grill more, the fit and finish looks a lot better than previous grills and the screws look longer for more thread engagement for the letters. Sadly I had to remove it and ended getting an oem one due to fitment and made a gap on the upper grill. Keep up the good work of refining parts for better fit and finish.

@@yotaxpedition I know, I had an issue with the upper grill and you guys sent out a replacement for that. Did not want to keep bugging if the fitment was going to be the same overall. If the fitment was like the oem one I’d still be rocking it, I like the black letters look way more than the silver.

That's what happens with aftermarket stuff, it never fits/performs correctly. The oem is outrageously priced though. $700 for 2 pieces of plastic? Gtfoh.

Or instead of doing all that work to remove the front and rear valances, you can do like I did, and just use some painters tape. Be patient do a nice job of taping off all the edges and apply a couple coats of Krylon or some other good adhesive paint. Mine still look great after two years and it only cost me 20 bucks.🫤
