I live in a small borough in Northeastern Pennsylvania and I've decided about 3 years or so ago on rural Louisiana for my new future home. Mostly looking into the Achafalaya Basin area. Y'all are good folks indeed. Times have changed even in my small borough. Neighbors used to be kind, caring and used to look out for and help each other. Unfortunately, it seems faith in God has become a rarity here, instead replaced with greed and envy, at times hell bent on destroying each other. I honestly wouldn't recommend starting and raising a family here. Just 10 years ago or so, I would. I've always been a conservative Christian, but I have to admit brother Phil has been an absolute inspiration in my life and my Dad's. At least I know with moving to Louisiana, I'll be able to start a family and raise the kids as God intended. God bless 🙏

Mr. ROBERTSON, I am a Mn. Native. I had the privilege to experience living in Crowley La.for 2 years. I thought I would starve,as I thought the food was all too "spicy " for me. Well I learned the difference between spicy and flavor. I gained 50 lbs living there. So before I make the same mistakes you did I’ve decided to prevent anymore damage and give myself to the lord!!! My Grand Paw used to catch em in the back water of the Sabine down here in SWLA. He had about 50 traps made from rabbit wire. They were 2’X2’ square with bout 4 inch sides and wire on each corner about 3 foot long that met above the trap. He would set em using a cane pole. They literally killed, caught, and grew everything they ate!!!
