Quite a few people in the comments complained how 4 bps and 4cents are not the same thing, so let's settle this once and for all. The offer of 4 bps is for the entire amount of the trade, i.e. $500m, which is the premium (price of the option) the client has to pay, and which equals $200k ($500m x 0.0004). When the client says 4 cents, she means she is willing to pay the price of 4 cents for a single option contract. The notional amount of one contract is $100, a standard convention for the face value of a single bond. Given that the trade amount is 500m, she is buying $500m/$100=5m options. Because she is paying 4 cents for each, the total price she pays is $200k, same as as above. Ergo, 4 bps and 4 cents ARE the same thing

Just to correct the $500 million is the notional value of the contract. The pay off of the option at exercise or maturity will reference that and will be multiplied by some factor.

I never understood how Eric's character was problematic enough to be fired. Yes he yelled in the office occasionally, but it was always based on work performance unlike the clear personal and sexual harassment that took place in other depts. I rewatched the locked door scene and he only locked the door and drew the shades once Harper told him Daria was also at the meeting. They were discussing confidential matters so it makes sense. Granted it's all about how Harper characterized their interaction, but Eric was hurt that she basically sold him out by telling Daria his biggest client left because of what Eric said to his wife.

So just because it's based on work matters only ur allowed to be sociopath borderline psychopath, psychological, mentally abusive and toxic.....not to mention he is highly emotionally manipulative too, notice how one moment in one episode he was fawning over her praising her to high heavens singling her for his "mentorship" and the next he is complete batshit loco.....and the next day he was contrite and sorry and I shouldn't say that,he's never shown he's ever sorry, trying to bribe her and sweet talk her saying she deserves it....he understands what's he is doing that means he is definitely not autistic so there's no excuse whatsoever... I bet that's the reason felim or what's he's name left him, being around such a human being cannot be good for ur mental health and sanity long term,I wonder why his wife married him.....fk u Kant!!!!
