What is the point of shooting in a bt.2020 format if it is always converted to rec.709? Many screens support P3, which is close to bt.2020, but all the videos end up in Rec.709.

Why you do the primaries before the transform and then the rest of the color grade after that node instead of using the transform node as the last and work inside the SLog Color Space to take advantage of the dynamic range and the color gamut?

Is there some sort of overlay video track that we can use like in Premiere Pro?

I work on fcpx but I can see how similarly can work there. Would you ETTR hlg3 and Slog2 for this to work?

I'm not sure about this but I think it's possible to save the nodes as Luts if I'm not wrong!

Hi thanks for this tutorial. I edit on a mac book pro mostly, what would be a required display color? I've set mine to rec 709 2.4 and what tag do you use to export no youtube?

Thank you so much for watching, I don't change the Tag option at all for exporting! Your monitor setup is right I think, no need to change anything as far as I think

Thanks so much for watching dude, I'm not sure about this, haven't tested it but I think you can export a node or multiple nodes as a lut, again you'd better test it cause I'm not sure
