Advanced 3 sets of 8 at the height you desire to be at so I do this at 50 inches .. it’s finally to the point where my heart doesn’t drop n a nervous sense that means my mind and body isn’t looking at this height as a threat

Does this exercise increase the chances of Achilles injuries?

from what iv heard no, and in some cases it could help prevent injurey but dont take my word for it

If you don't progressive overload properly then yes. But if you do then it could make your achilles stronger. This is congruent with most exercises

Like the second replier stated, as with any exercise, so long as you progressively overload in the correct way, meaning you don’t force the tendon to be working excessively hard, you are actually going to strengthen that tendon.

It makes your achilles significantly stronger assuming you don’t go way too hard and assuming you rest long enough in between

@@birchberry9354 what do you mean by going what to hard, and what is an optimal rest time in between sets? Also this is for anyone who sees this, just wanted to share some good news, it is very important. I wanted to say that Jesus Christ loves you and died for all of our sins. Jesus also rose again from the dead three days later, proving everything He said to be true (before He died He said He would rise again from the dead). Everyone has sin and the wages of sin is death. While I do depth jumps should I do the workout everyday Monday to Friday or every other day And also should I choose one height and in a week make the height higher and keep increasing higher and higher?

At what height should I start I have your program, but it feels kinda pointless and effortless to start jumping at 12 inches

It’s not pointless at that. You need to remember that lower boxes are building the base for higher boxes. I start my athletes with 6 inches. The goal really isn’t the height of the box, it’s to jump as high as possible after you drop off.
