my doc said not to use flossing near filling teeth as my filling today chipped of via flossing. so my doc is right?
@AribDeshmukh7 ай бұрын
Depends on many factors like size of filling and its position.. can opt for water flossing instead after consulting with him 👍🏼

It would have been better if you have demonstrated this in your own teeth, because it's much easier to show this in gum model...I have a doubt..I have been bleeding my gum occasionally while flossing will that be a problem
@AribDeshmukh3 жыл бұрын
Yes working on a updated video soon where I’ll be demonstrating it on my teeth . If bleeding stops after a few second then nothing to worry it’s normal..if bleeding persists ..you may need to show your dentist !

Perfectly taught , But If we take the floss inside the gum line (up & down motion) as you told, plaque or food particles will be pushed inside gum line instead of getting cleaned ?????
@AribDeshmukh Жыл бұрын
Hello Naresh, it does seem like that but it doesn’t happen. The floss almost perfectly removes the plaque if you use the proper technique!
@AbhiVerma-mv5xk Жыл бұрын
Earlier I use Colgate floss 25m which seems perfect but now Colgate replaced it with 50m floss.When I opened it the thread was totally different (thin, hard, transparent type).I dont know it is defective or what ..So please guide about how a floss thread SHOULD look like ?
@AribDeshmukh Жыл бұрын
Honestly I shifted away from that floss to the floss by Oral b Pro and Curaprox. I’ll need to go back and revisit what Colgate is currently offering !😅

Many people including me have a common doubt that whether we have to take floss inside the gum line ??? if yes then how much deep....??? Will it push the food debris into gumline ?? It could be better if you elaborate this a little more.
@AribDeshmukh Жыл бұрын
yes you have to take below the gum line..because from there only the plaque will come out and if you the C shaped up down movement the food does not go in and infact comes out which is what we do everyday !
