It’s not about ending the “dream” it’s about becoming lucid or awake in the “dream”.

Oh wow! I wrote that first comment one minute into the video before he even started flaming about lucid dreaming. I like when things like that happen. Feels very cool

I have lucid dreams from time to time, and its so true, it really doesn't matter what is in the dream, you can enjoy it, even if it seems a dark dream. the enjoyment is the being lucid, rather than the dream itself.

Depends on your perception. You can CHOOSE the way you think of your thoughts.

@@Demention94 I'm in poverty. the cost of living only goes up. employment is abusive. My family is abusive. I need health care and I cannot get it. The planet and the society that inhabits it is also dying. It only gets worse. We live in hell. I didn't make any of this up. I was forced to be born into a horrible reality I did not create. it only gets worse. I'm so so tired. I just want out. I wish god would die or just stop being cruel.

Love your channel. Thank you for serving. I have trouble with these thoughts when they're evil and against God. Which is not my nature. Early this morning around 3 am I'm awakened and these nasty thoughts about God try slipping in. It had me worried this morning as when I was doing JAPA I didn't feel the fire of the Holy Spirit in my crown as I usually do. I've been trying to put this ego in it's rightful place for several years now and often I think it fights back when I am at a less aware state

Every thought I have is meaningless, and not real. But the awareness behind those thoughts, the awareness OF those thoughts, is permanent and invulnerable and real

all his teachings check out as true to me. My only criticism is his vibe - he sounds like he's a bit pissed off with the whole living thing like he'd just rather be done with it all! 🤣

But isn't it so easy to become complacent? I have noticed that I could very well live my life passively and self-centered and still say that I'm living happily.. (I'm not saying this would be ethical, it's just that the right thing seems to be so difficult to 'do'.) Nature doesn't seem to demand much more than me taking care that I have food to eat, water to drink, roof over my head, and a social life. Procreation goes into that too, but since I'm not considering that it just appears in sexual energies which I have learned to dissolve. Other than that, nature doesn't seem to care whether I'm altruistic or not. Or whether I'm ignorant about the state of the human condition & the world or not. Do you feel what I'm saying? Bravery and natural giving are said to arise when the interconnectedness of everything is seen. When 'you' is absent, you are whole. Yet, these conditioned thought & behavior patterns seem to kick in. I'm living in the past, as I'm repeating what I've been doing, without spontaneity. Deepest conditioning is here in the now, internet usage. Even though I do have active daily life, internet seems to work like an anchor and the screen time multiplies throughout the day without noticing. It is so accessible. So that my underlying restlessness is constantly being suppressed. I have noticed that this has made the mind become mechanical. One where there is no spaciousness for faith. Godfrey Reggio, director, artist, and a former Catholic Monk said: "It's not that we use technology, we live technology."
