i completely belive in losers q, I was having 65% winrate in Plat 2 and it was clear that i was climbing, but then i lost SO many games and ended up in GOLD 3 with 40% winrate. literally 70% of games that i played i've been performing decently well and rarely went into negative score.

This has made me feel a lot better about my recent performance in League. I currently now have had a 21% win rate in the 20 most recent games, and admittingly, my mental has pretty much been down the shitter because of it. I know I'm performing to the best of my ability and almost always win my lane, but it feels like I've been getting the absolute worst luck imaginable when it comes to teammates and their competence in their respective roles (for reference, I'm an off-meta top laner). Knowing that I'll eventually be able to get back on my feet at some point if I keep my performance consistent has been much more helpful than I initially gave it credit for.

I have a 50% win rate yas, so I know how to carry games easily. I would win 3 to 4 games in row then boom, everyone match I play is with a player on my team who is new, can’t farm or ward a bush Ganks or drag. These players have the lowest IQ ever. @krytv4890 To clarify, by "the best of my ability", I'm not claiming to be fuckin T1 Zeus or AloisNL or anyone crazy like that. By thar I mean I am making sure I am fully mentally locked in, getting high CS counts (I'm making sure to consistently aim for at least 6.5/min), looking for roam timers, recalls, ward opportunities, lane priority, etc. I'm not perfect by any means. Hell, yesterday was a pretty dogshit day for me in terms of performance, and I got my ass handed to me by a Heimerdinger, but at the end of the day, I'm still putting in legitimate effort. At the time of typing this, I've actually made it out of losers queue and had a pretty great match vs a Gangplank, so I'm feeling pretty good about things and getting out of the elo I'm in

meanwhile, it's been proven that league DOES alter matchmaking queues based upon behavior and win rate. This was done based on data leaks and algorithmic examination of player data with an 80% accuracy rating. Tyler1 just made a rant video about how bad it is when he decided to queue into a low-rank game XD

This is where I am right now. Interestingly this insane loss-streak into 25% win rate has only really happened one other time in my 10 years of league- and that was the first two-three weeks of S14 split 1. I find it odd. It is, as you say, as if all the people on my teams have suddenly collectively lost the ability to play league, let alone use a computer, just because some items got slight adjustments.

After you demote, riot can decide or give you "free" win. This only proves that they can decide whether you lose or win. No matter how good you are you will always be placed with the losing team, players who quit, go afk, muted, trolls, feeder.

Riot would benefit tons by having a "losers Q" algorithm to keep players determined to keep playing (this increases their chance of maybe buying skins or consuming other products) It would also benefit them by spreading the playerbase accordingly, thats why you could have good players in emerald and bad players in Masters Suppose they need more players in Diamond 1 to fill for Challenger/Master queues, well, they just give a few winners Q for some players and there you have it.

All the data is there, every match is predetermined through algorithms. There are winners que and losers que. It's rng on top of manipulated 'rng' To beat the system you have to play against it. They don't want you to do that though so they remove names from ques so you can't easily search your team in pregame lobby to then dodge the obvious losing match.

My only evidence is that I did an excel table on when I will I get into a loosing streak - always when I reach 55%+ winrate. Over 3 seasons I tracked my wins and losses together with my win %; my guess is that riot puts you together with low % winrate teammates if yours is very high, to make both teams a total of 50% vs 50% winrate When I have 55%+ winrate I usually get, consistently and evidently, teammates with 48% and below, often times these are also on a loosing streak and tilted (which is the reason their WR dropped) This combines with the perception that I suddenly get teammates that perform way worse than their rank. And there we have the loosing queue.

I really think they do that even in normals. I recently started an account. Obviously had a very high winrate, and after a few days of normal stomping to lvl. I started to get low tier trolls always. On game I had a malphite, who said he is roleplaying as a rock, and kept spamming "rock solid" under tower not moving.

I don't think it might be something Riot is doing intentionally, but rather the fact that they have one small error in their code somewhere which is snowballing into this huge thing that even they themselves are not aware of. Like I totally believe them when they say that they didn't intentionally create this, but I don't believe that losers queue isn't real. There are just too many cases of where teams are just completely incorrectly balanced based on recent wins and losses and whatnot.

former prof. poker player and coach here :) no such thing as "loser q"! Variance is super abstract and hard to grasp as human being. 100% agree that lol is alot more like poker than its chess. in fact league is mostly a bayesian game with alot of incomplete information and a game with alot random, uncontrollable variables AND some skill elements. (strategy, micro, macro). its the reason why i always start to coach poker GTO ideas to my lol students. worth noting is that the playerbase changes over time while a season progresses and it might be necessary to adjust to this. Later in a competitive season the playerbase that remains active plays on avg. closer to roughly 50% winrate in the middle of elo range. in lol that would be gold to dia. And your win rate will always be influenced by the avg. winrate of the population you play in. But the optimal strategy late in a season can always be adjusted to that, maybe even to a point that makes huge winrates possible that are not possible in the early stages of a season because its so "off meta" but now viable because alot of tilted and slighty worse players remain active in late stages of a season.

It has been proven to exist. a competent programmer could even write a basic program for it in under an hour. It's mathematics, just like professional poker. Meanwhile league has multiple queues and algorithms to determine which to place you in with the two most common factors being win/loss ratio and promo series. it's not coincidence when players document consecutive, highly unlikely events occurring with the same "variable" in place and then information leaks prove it.

These are business video games, full of data and algorithms. If there is ever any issue players have, it is intentionally created by the devs creating algorithms with the help of psychologists. The point of losers que and winners que aka EOMM, is to keep players playing. Ppl play to climb so it's in best interest to make it as slow as possible. If you win too much, you log off If you lose too much, you log off It's all manipulated so that players stay in game.

It happens so often and described exactly, my theory : i had 90% winrate 40 games and the ones lost were due to afk. After that 1 game i blundered counter jungling, mid top were not intrested to help, i got reported probably, grief the game and then surprise 40 loses in a row till my winrate was 50% back. The theory I have they put you in a dificult spot after winstreak which is already confirmed by the mmr raising. But if you get reported and have a bad game, it will start a more loser que matchmaking with players that are reported more often. I would be ok with loser Q as you say in the video, its not about beeing better than the enemy, it s about maximizing your chance of winning. Why the fuck i would not be ok with the part where we are ublucky and lose in a row. It s just infuriating because of the negative animals you have in this loser q. It s always the games whete your team plays against you completly lowering your chance of winning, stealing ur farm, flashing on spot for no big reason. It's just a bad matchmaking system (especially in current split and in emerald). It is definetly not luck, nor 'random' outcome if i literally had 10 lose into 10 win streaks 4 times already at about 110 games (yes, it is 3/4 of all games). Pattern that you showed at 3:00 IS a pattern that should emerge but is rare in league because of bad matchmaking system. Even if you play perfectly, you still should have like 7 loses and 3 wins randomly, but it is not what happens. You either win x games in a row no matter you do or you lose them (sometimes gain one win / lose at random). I guess about 70% of games are a complete stomp and they are one after another. It came to that point, that i can predict if im in winners / losers/ normal queue and can predict outcome of next ~8 matches just by playing one. And for context, I say this as e2 peaker top main.

i actually start thinking, riot actually don’t have high rank players. I’ve plays 10 years, have thousands of friends in mutiple account, over different servers, in real life and online, all player are iron and bronze.i think the statistics is wrong, actually 99% player are iron. Because, even I have 60% winrate. I lost 1 game, lost 35 rip, and win a game get 18 rip, this mean I have to have 70% win rate over 20 games to get 1 rank up, this is impossible, even faker can’t make it.

I don't think losers queue is putting people at a disadvantage because everyone gets affected by it and therefore nobody gets an advantage, however it does prove that the game's competitive integrity isn't very prioritized by the developers and they would much rather focus on playtime. Vanguard was just what I needed to stop playing League of Legends, ironically they would use competitive integrity as an excuse to push this update even though it has not worked with Valorant. Even if installing a rootkit from a developer owned by Tencent is not dangerous (which is arguably not the case), it was just the push I needed to stop with League of Legends and I actually enjoy gaming now. Regardless, watching your content is still fun despite not playing League and I hope you get some much needed attention as these videos are quite entertaining.

Whether players agree with the developers' decision making, devs are certainly doing a better job than most AAA studios right now. I am personally under the impression that they mainly focus on playtime (and that it is working very well), but perhaps this is necessary to keep the game up and running. Scuffed game is always better than no game.

Losers' Queue is a mental state. You can get an inting teammate and think "Oh, it's losers' queue." Or you could recognize that it's a numbers game, and that getting an inter is essentially inevitable with a large enough number of games. It just happens to be "your turn" to get the inter. Do your best, test your limits, and win the next one.

If you only play against the same skilled players you will never escape that elo because most people are not progressing/getting better. You can only escape a elo bracket by abusing real world systems. Aka dodging, pubstomp broken champs in which you ignore the correct ways of playing the mode.

3 things to losers q. first: if riot would keep you from climbing, then why are there so many boosters who can make money on these accounts. second: why would riot do this at all. if you want to maximize the engagement of ppl the last thing you want, is that players lose a lot of games in a row, cause this has the highest chance of them losing the motivation to play. a rigged system would look like this: win, lose,win, lose,win... and you would rly slighty climb. third: the chance of having a 5 games losing streak on 100 games with a 50% win chance is over 80%!
