You are not an expert and here is why

In this video we talk about the concept of being an expert in something or being a consultant. A lot of people in generation Z specifically think they are an expert in anything and everything especially social media as they grew up with it. I talk about how bad it is to think this way especially if you have little to not experience. I talk about how my dad voiced his opinion on this topic as he is an expert in his field, spending the last twenty years as a Ph.D immunologist working in industry and academics. Follow along for this open conversation about consulting and being an expert and how that is not helpful with no experience besides what you learned in school. Get out there, learn and grow and come back when you are an expert in your field and let us know what you learned in that time! Also for those who viewed the video I talk about how my mom is getting her masters in social work, I forgot to preface that she has two to three years of experience working in the field after getting her undergrad degree (not to mention her 20+ years of experience as a mother). Just thought I would clarify especially if she ends up watching this video!
