Well said Rob. I have been in business 10 years and started at £15 a room, now charge £65 to £120 for a standard size room. Quality is key!!. When I first started I was obsessed with matching my competitors prices, after a while I realised I was putting more time and effort and giving way better results than them. This mindset has massively improved the quality of my clients and my ability to say to potential clients ‘that I understand price can be a major factor, but as I never compete on price (only the level of service and results I achieve), that I might not be the best fit on this occasion. I’m always happy to help if I can.’ You would be amazed at how many clients read this and then book even though I am sometimes double what the cheapo guys are charging. Customer Service above everything! Educating the customer is a massive part of that service. Build trust and demonstrate you are the expert. Then charge accordingly, but never overcharge. That’s just not what a Gentleman does. Keep up the great work. Tom

I love bombed out carpets because my clients are always happy with the results even when they’re not perfect the Kool-Aid never comes out but they love results and don’t care my high-end clients have a lot of expensive stuff which sometimes makes me nervous don’t like to charge too high because of that

Just a question...... I am an auto detailer and was looking for what product(s) and what machine(s) should i use. Maybe you could take your cleaning knowledge and tap into the auto detailers market by making an "auto detailing package" !!!!!! I love your energy and i think there is a market for you to dominate in the auto detailing market....... * build us a machine (small but lots of POWER) * make up chemical package. * Accessories......

@@TruckMountForums you’re right I’ve been doing a lot of apartments and the new chemistry works so good as well as a lot of people are trying to save money right now on floor replacement so they’re getting a lot of carpet cleaning for that I feel blessed and in return sorry to anyone trying to save a little bit of their hard-earned money rich or poor hopefully we can get there carpets cleaned for a good deal so they’re happy and we’re happy
