Wallahi I believed them I thought I was stupid and have nothing to say about anything.. many many years I lived like that now i am married and have kids .. I do the same because I don't know better even I always said I wil nevwr do that too my childeren now here I am doing everything the same. I can attest to this my father used to call me this when he got mad and I eventually lost all confidence I believed I was stupid, and I would never ask for anything I needed from him. I am hurt and healed Alhamdulillah I get to learn a lesson to never treat anyone like this not even my kids if I get one inshallah. You never know what someone is going through the least you can do is talk to them nicely.

It's okay, you gonna be fine. 3 years back before my father always be little to me or say something bad word, but when I get older and I still respect my father. Alhamdullilah he don't say a bad word anymore to me. So be patience my friend, Allah is testing all of us. But when 2020, my late mother passed away cause of cancer during COVID. My father need someone to talk. So he just being kind to me and my sibling. I'm happy now and YOU SHOULD TOO😊. I will doa to you guys who read my comment to say healthy and stay happy.

I feel ashamed of asking him so much, he even accepts my dua and when I commit a sin or do something which is prohibited I feel as though I don't deserve to ask his forgiveness and make dua to him. Getting a B arguably proves you’re the opposite of incompetent in that subject. Doesn’t matter what he says or thinks, because it doesn’t change the facts. Some people can be straight up ignorant, even family, unfortunately. Just stick to rationalizing and be critical lf what’s true and what isn’t, what makes sense and what doesn’t. Ok, so I am a Christian...but there are parts of what you say on these videos that is resonating with me. What I want to know is how can I learn more? Where would be a good place to start? I realize the two faiths are exclusive in some ways, but in others we aren't all that different. God = Allah right? That in and of itself gives us common ground. I know what the US media tells us about Muslims, however, that has never been my personal experience. Anyway, I truly want to learn, and who knows what God has planned... I'm his to serve as he sees fit. Whatever that role is I know is the right thing. I figure I would pop the question out here and maybe someone can help point me in the right direction.
